LIGHTS & WIPERS

Let Midas clear your view.

Improve your visibility

We can help improve your visibility by inspecting windshield wiper blades, headlamps, turn signals, and brake lights, and by filling your windshield washer fluid.

Whether your car has conventional headlights, halogen headlamps, or the latest xenon car lights, the trained technicians at your Midas can diagnose headlight problems and light your way to clearer driving.

In addition to headlamps, other lights available from Midas include:

  • Tail, park, and brake lights
  • Turn signals
  • Interior lamps
  • Hazard flashers

Your neighborhood Midas can also replace worn windshield wipers that will keep your windshield clear in all types of weather.

While you’re in the store, let us run through the Midas Touch® Courtesy Check. We’ll conduct a visual check, looking inside, outside, under the hood and under the vehicle, then provide a written report. It’s fast, efficient and covers many items on your vehicle’s preventive maintenance plan, including inspection of lights and wiper blades.

ASK THE MECHANIC

Lights, Wipers & Accessories FAQs

Q: I see a lot of different kinds of wiper blades that will fit my car. How do I know which one to buy?

A: No problem. Just check the application guide. It will tell you which wiper blades are right for you.

Q: I have a newer car that has LED headlights. Are they more expensive to replace than standard headlights?

A: Actually, LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs are used in many modern taillights, but headlights use HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs. Both types cost considerably more to replace than incandescent (traditional filament-style) bulbs, but they can last 10-15 times longer than incandescent (filament-type) bulbs.
