I came in for an oil change. While the panel underneath the drip pan was open, the mechanic noticed fluid sprayed where it shouldn't have been. So they suggested a diagnostic to check for an oil leak. He also noticed a cracked serpentine belt - also in the same area. With 114,000 miles on the car I did not hesitate to have that replaced
The recommendations that were offered had already been completed prior to my visit. The price of oil for 1 quart, was 3 dollars higher. If you wanted to win a customer for my first time visit, this could have been a simple “ hey we know it takes an extra quart from the coupon, we can sell it to you at that price”
They were very straight forward with their service and the time table that it would take. I had a few things that needed to be serviced and they gave me a call to walk me through it all along with time and pricing.

Best oil change experience in ten years.
I trust Ila. Upon going in for an oil change, she explained the need for other services. Some were urgent, some not so. They were expensive but necessary. She understood my hesitance and explained the reasons why they were important.
I was notified about everything they were doing to my car and most importantly they told me the price of service and didn't cheat me.
I went in to have my oil changed and now my car is not even drivable as its dragging a metal piece. (Maybe the skid plate). No idea what to do as I have to go to work tomorrow morning??

We originally took our vehicle to the dealership to have an oxygen sensor replaced, but after five days, they had still not started the work. We picked the vehicle up and drove it over to Midas instead, and they had it fixed the same day! They even worked us into the schedule without an appointment, this is our third visit to the Georgetown Midas for services and we have been satisfied every time. The staff is friendly and the techs do great work. Thank you!

Cannot say if it was done or not. Not to sure they rotated my tires. Since I was busy reading I didn’t pay attention. My tires didn’t see like they were touched. We had rain in the area and the rims where dirty…didn’t have presence/marking of someone that had removed them.

Front desk associate was extremely friendly. He kept me informed of any issues that was seen in my car and needed attention. They was able to get it taken care of and didn't take an extra long time to do it. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and we're able to take care of my vehicle as if it was their own. I really appreciate them going above and beyond checking everything on my car to make sure I'm driving safely.
Time for Oil Change. Appointment scheduled when it was convenient for me. Location is great. Dropped off my car at noon and never heard from them so I called at about 4pm if it was ready and they said it was. No telling how long it was ready but doubt an oil change takes 4 hours! Then my brother-in-law takes me to pick it up and says I’m going to check oil level because they had had his daughter have an experience here where they forgot to put the oil and burnt her motor, which they did pay for damages, and it was a quart low. He went and told them and they came out to see and saw indeed it was low and put more oil.

Two things.The coupon I had was for (5) quarts of oil.My truck use (6) but I can purchase myself another quart for far less then what I was charged. They did not ask me what I wanted to do.When I went to pick up my truck I waited for the associate for almost (10) minutes while he tried to up sale someone on the phone.I believe that the customers standing in front of you should get service first because the person on the phone did not take the time to come in and it must not be as important to them. Put them on hold , take care of the guy that just spent money for your services. Then take the call.

I have been using this Midas for twenty years, they know me and know my needs (I use my car in my job and I work at night) and they are willing to accommodate them
They did a good job fixing my vehicle. But the technician left the vehicle doors unlocked when he or she closed up shop for the night. If had not stopped by the shop parking lot for the night my vehicle would have been unsecured in the outside parking lot all night. Which would it made it easy for someone to break into my vehicle after hours. But other than that the service I received was good.
Not not sure but I felt customer service was very lacking. Mr Herrera was a bit rude and he said it was up to him as the evaluator to make subjective decisions regarding inspections. I don't think a State of Texas inspection should have any room for subjectivity

The oil change this time was completed early, the display for oil change was not reset and I had to return. The man doing the reset was very nice and took care of the situation once I again waited to get through the initial checkin at the front desk. There is where I had a disappointing experience and it didn’t get any better when I had to return for the display reset. The man was constantly on the phone and I certainly get that the phones had to be answered. I was there in the store and shouldn’t have had to wait and wait for him to continue to answer calls. The professionals in the bay area kept having to stop what they were working on to answer phones. This was frustrating to me but his attitude made it worse. A pleasant smile would have been nice or at least pretend that he’s glad his customers are there. I’m just very disappointed but as a business owner myself, it would be a good idea to address the situation simply because this man is the first contact your store has both by phone and in person. I would really hate to see your wonderful business go down because of one person who obviously doesn’t want to be there.

They charged me $165. to replace the passenger side backup light on my Lexus. It took them 10 minutes to do it. I brought in the part needed. It was held in with a couple of screws-easy !! When I was told the cost was $165. I was shocked!! They said that $165 per hour was what the labor charge was and even if it only took a few minutes they still charge the full $165. I expressed my displeasure with their policy. My husband, Jerico, and I have done business here for about 25 years and spent many Thousands of $ here on our Ford F150, Honda, Exployer, Dodge Ram 2500 !! They also said my wipers were bad which is not true as I had bought the Premium wipers from Discount Tire just a couple of months before! I am very disappointed with my experience here.
The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I told them my issue and was immediately helped. They are very customer oriented and helpful. The service is great.

I needed my inspection that day so I could renew my auto registration the next day. I had 3 meetings to attend with my wife and dropped off our dog for grooming on the way. We simply called MIDAS and they said bring it on in! They were great. Got it done and held dit for me to pickup after the last meeting seemed to last forever. My wife dropped me off and minutes later I was home with a well groomed Aussie Shepard at my side. Inspections can be a burden, but Midas made it a breeze!

Great experience and good communication
I contacted other auto service centers and they wouldn't do the guard installation. Midas invited me in to have a look at my vehicle, told me they would have to order the kit, notified me when they got the kit and set an appointment. It took about an hour to do the installation. I was entirely pleased with the whole process, the friendliness of the front-office staff and the technician, the appearance of the facilities and the cost. The kit and the installation was a LOT less expensive than having to buy a new catalytic converter and exhaust pipes and have it all installed. I recommend every non-EV car owner do this and do it through Midas.

Now that I can make an appointment, I will be glad to return. I’m enjoying the price with the coupon I received. Some of the things that were ‘in the yellow’ really didn’t need attention since my husband had recently(within 2 months) replaced those filters. But other than that, pleased with the thorough inspection.

Check in process went smoothly but it seemed to take a very long time to get my car on the rack - and I had a 7:30 appointment. I wasn't riveted on watching my car when it was actually in the shop, but I did glance up a bunch of times and I never saw the tires off. Makes me wonder if they actually rotated the tires at all.

First of all, don't lie to your customers. I was told my tires were *bare*, thus they could not honor the tire rotation I had paid for with my Groupon. The tires had less than 22,000 miles on them, we're NOT bare at all!!! There was uneven wear between the front and back tires, and a rotation was EXACTLY what was needed to even out the wear!!!!I am sick to death of car repair places looking at single women and thinking we are morons who don't know our own cars, and I will not return to any place that treats me with such blatant disrespect.
I went in for an Oli Change using a coupon for Full Synthetic oil.The coupon was for (5) quarts of oil & my truck takes (6).I knew that when I went in and was not worried about the 6th quart because I would add that on my own for about $7.00 versus the $12.00 Midas wanted.I Have done this for years at your competitor Sun Automotive in Georgetown & was never an issue. The service manager at Midas would not do that so I went elsewhere.

For the sake of others time and money. Make sure all make model and years of newer vehicles have the correct specifications to pull standards per manufacturer specs. I got a low oil light after I left. That should never happen.
The person running the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. She communicated my options well and as I sat in the waiting room I heard her interacting with many other customers - it’s obvious she feels ownership and pride for her job.

I understand they are always busy at this location, and so the services may take a bit longer, which is not their fault at all. I called in a couple days prior to ask some generic questions about what I wanted to get done and the person who answered was incredibly professional and kind and answered all my questions. When I arrived a couple days later I was greeted by another employee at the desk who explained their was only one tech working that day, but they would still be able to take care of me and my needs. I didn’t mind the wait since I was able to have someone pick me up and drop me off when my vehicle was ready. The professionalism and kindness of everyone I interacted with is the only reason I took time to fill out this survey. Over the past two years it seems harder and harder to find people willing to treat customers with respect and kindness, that they are equally entitled to as employees. It was a great experience from start to finish and I greatly appreciated it.

All though the staff was friendly and check in was quick, it took 1.5hrs to do a oil change, tire rotation and windshield wiper blade replacement and I got there at exactly opening time. I’ve been to other Midas and they don’t take nearly as long and do the same checks. There were only 2 spots for parking available due to extended service vehicles so thankfully I arrived early.
Everyone was so incredibly happy and nice. We just moved to town and will definitely be back. Super helpful and kind.

Being a woman it is difficult to get car repairs done honestly. Midas doesn't take advantage of dealing with a woman on car issues. The staff explain in detail and take the time to answer any questions. I don't feel taken advantage of in dealing with the staff. The store is clean, everyone is friendly and seem to appreciate the customers. I've referred several people to store in Georgetown Texas and they have all been very satisfied. I will continue to use this store for my car needs.

They took good care of my car and let me know that there was more of an issue than I thought there was and simply just took care of all issues after confirming it with me first. I mean it cost me way more than I initially thought but overall it saves me money in the long run.
