I scheduled for a brake service online but when I arrived they had me booked for an oil change instead. My appointment was booked for 1:30pm which was confirmed via text and via email, but when I showed up they told me it was booked for 2:00pm so I had to wait an extra half an hour at their shop because they miscommunicated.

Appoint was booked for 1030am. My vehicle was taken in after 12 pm, wasted 1.5 hour even after booking an appointment for simple oil change. I could see the entire process of oil change through the window, which took less than 10 minutes to complete but wasted quote a bit time just waiting which was never explained and expected. Price breakdown including taxes wasn't matching the promotional price. Highly never coming back ever to Midas.

Came in for my winter tire swap and oil change. Was told by agent other issues need your attention as if the problem is not fixed now, it will have tremendous effect on the vehicle and financially. Which I’ve agreed to fix it( Brake Fluid - Condition, CV Boots/Axles). Agent by the name of Herb explained well and also showed the issue to me. They did a great job on price matching as well.

When I called for a quote on rear shocks, associate was very friendly and I was informed that my shocks were still under warranty and all I had to pay was the labour. Scheduled my appointment in a timely manner and was very satisfied overall.

I’m a woman and I also know nothing about cars. Typical I know. But usually when I go to the mechanic they literally talk to me like I’m an idiot. But these staff were friendly and not at all patronizing. They were very kind when I went in to pick up my car. I am overall very satisfied with my experience.

the report after my oil change said my tires were worn but they are midas tires bought less than 2 years ago and switched out in the winter. I was also told that my brake rotors and pads were a problem but they were serviced a few months ago so either the job wasn’t done well or the vehicle inspection was not done.

perhaps the present deal/arrangement/relationships with the suppliers should be crystal clear so that deliveries will not be a problem. herb, the supervisor was able to order the parts a week before and was promised by the supplier to deliver on a specific date. however, it did not arrive as promised, of which i just learned to find out when i arrived in midas for my appointment. i was very disappointed.

I have used this Midas Centre in the past and have been very satisfied and I have recommended it to others who have also expressed their satisfaction to me. However, this time I am of the belief that an item went missing from my vehicle. The item is of inconsequential value but it was not in the vehicle when I picked it up. I have searched at home and cannot locate it and I cannot recall removing it from the vehicle (there would be no reason to remove it). I don't know if the item fell out of the vehicle during repairs and wasn't put back or if the vehicle was left unlocked at some point while it sat outside (the car was delivered the night before the scheduled appointment and needed an extra overnight stay due to parts availability), and someone removed the item from the car. I do not want to accuse anyone of taking the item or leaving the vehicle unlocked, as I cannot say for 100% certainty that either scenario occurred.
I was told 1.5 hours to do the work but it took closer to 3
I was told after the service that my car needed a new air filter. Why wasn’t I given the option to replace it durning the service? They also rotated my tires which was included with my oil change but they didn’t check my tire pressure so after I paid and was leaving I noticed the tire pressure warning light was on and had to go back in to get them to check it. They did it no problem and the tech was very nice.

The service is very thorough and timely. The service staff is informative and patient. The price is always reasonable.
There was roughly a 3 week period of trying to get an estimate/quote/appointment through the online way of doing things, with 'email tag' (though perhaps that had to do with a high volume of customer emails to clear?). Once I had a quote I visited another Midas location in the south and they were VERY busy and only able to book after Christmas. I phoned a third location to try and get in before beginning the process of online appointment booking. I eventually called the appointment booking centre to expedite getting an appointment before the new year. I arrived on time for my appointment, the location was busy and proceeded to wait just over 15 minutes to drop off the keys and wait. It was not mentioned that it may take around 2 hours to do an oil change (though I perhaps could have assumed or it was implied during the online booking window process). I appreciate that the time of year is busy and that locations may be understaffed for the volume of potential customers.
When you have a booked time please honour it. I was booked for 9 AM and never got in the bay till Noon.

I spoke to a lady to book an appointment for 10 am but I was given for 1pm. Waited ine lobby for 1 hour with 3 yr old son on my lap, no one came to came to ask if you need a chair for him, or any water/coffee. I received a message after the service, stating that thry have checked the tire pressure which should be 36PSI for all tires, the tire indicator on the dashboard was still on. I came home, checked with my own tire pressure gauze, 1 one was 48 psi, one was 34 psi. I was told $69.99 for a synthetic oil change, after the service I paid $10 extra, was told the engine capacity is more, buylt why would you check before telling me $69.99 at first. No smile, no customer service at all.

I wanted an appointment for an oil change and a seasonal tire change. I called the desk and asked for an appointment the week of the first snowfall so obviously the store was very busy and there were no appointments available. I was told that if I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and leave it there all day, they could get it done. I was happy that I could be accommodated last minute. Dropped off my car first thing, easy transfer and the staff member who checked me in was very friendly. Asked some confirming questions about the services I wanted, and I told him about some concerns I had. So, they made sure to make a note to check on that during the service. I left the shop for the day expecting to come back at the end of the day to pick up my car. I was surprised to get a call around 1pm saying everything was done; much faster than I expected considering how busy I knew the shop must have been that day. I really appreciated the texted report of the vehicle inspection, so I know if there are any issues that I need to take care of. Overall, a great experience and I intend to return for any other services I may need. Thank you

I have been a customer at Midas for over 20 years and at times have given them a challenge with the work that I wanted them to do for me. They never disapointed me in any way. I always got good advice from the people at the desk or when I phoned them for additional information. This also included work on my 1965 ALVIS - Vintage Car, They custom built the dual exaust for that car, and did a great job, I was very happy with the cost. The service at the Stony Plain Road location has always very good. I have had several cars and trucks in at this location and always been and am happy. Great people at MIDAS. Thank you

The whole experience was frustrating made appointment, left vehicle. Midas was to send info to insurance, never did, then they couldn't access my info because Rudy went awall! Then finally after 3 attempts they invoiced AMA, to be told my vehicle wouldn't be released till they received payment? Come on AMA, pretty big insurance company you know they are good for it?

My car hv nothing wrong , it’s drive just fine I went there for oil change but I end up paying 1800 and I even don’t know what they did . They said they change my break paid Break fluid. And oil Ana they charred me around 700 doller labourers charge in 2 hours .

I made an online appt. request for 2:00 p.m. When I was called, I was asked if I wanted to come for 1:00 p.m. instead. Dropped off my car, walked & waited for 1.25 hrs & called. I was told they were checking my car right then & someone would call me shortly w/ an assessment. Went back to shop & asked if they looked at my car & was told no. It is now 1 hour & 40 minutes later. I understand & appreciate how busy it can get. However,1) Please don't encourage me to book earlier when this time cannot be honored.2) Please tell me the truth when I call to ask if my car has been looked at.3) Appt's may be discouraged &/or notify clients of potential wait times. I called because Midas because the car was in for warranty repairs on Monday and at that time the infiniti dealership recommended the air filter be changed on Tuesday the car went in for an oil change at Midas.On Wednesday after reviewing the notes from both places I called Midas because the air filter had not been replaced. The customer service person directed me to a picture the mechanic had taken on Tuesday showing the air filter did not need replacement

the male service person was helpful the female was not prepared to explain needed repairs to front end only stating I could read to emailed document.The male service person offered me a $10.00 discount as I am a long time customer and saw how the female person fell short on customer service.
Everyone was polite. The associates were clear and concise, and kept me well informed throughout the day. The work was done very well, even with the added services I requested, and it was all done by closing time.

Our truck would not start and we called the shop and they were able to get it in that day and we picked it up the next day. This location has always treated us well and w3 feel the service is fair. The repair is always explained and they do try to upswell any other service or repair that is not needed at that time.

The interior of my vehicle was left extremely dirty. My sun visor and roof had lots of black dirt staining it. I’ve only had this vehicle for a year so it was disappointing to see but I didn’t bother mentioning it to anyone.
