I made an appointment with Jim the owner at Midas on Larkin Avenue. It was for Thursday, March 6. I believe I came in for an oil change synthetic. I had a $20 coupon that he sent me through email and when I was going to ring up, I gave him the coupon and he said, he can’t accept that because the prices are already discounted for the purchase price of 69 which that is the price of their normal synthetic blend oil change with the tire rotation I didn’t even have my tires rotated and I’m very upset that he couldn’t even honor my $20 off coupon

We have been bringing our fleet of vehicles to the Crest Hill Midas for at least a year now. We always get great service. There have been a few occasions where the owner has gone out of his way to save us money on repairs.

I recently switched to Midas 2 years ago because of tire issues on the way home from Florida. I started coming in for tire issues and then starting having a very bad experience at my regular mechanic. I decided to go here since my tires had been through Midas. Since then I take my car and my husbands car in regularly and have nothing but an amazing experience. The people working there every one of them small team but they are amazing and friendly. They make sure I understand the problem and pricing never try to over sell which I don’t think I have ever experienced. I just couldn’t tell you enough how very happy I am going there and I trust my car to them everytime. They go above and beyond for their customers and seem to have many regulars known by name. I love it here it is the mom and pop shop of crest hill!!
The owner/manager Jim was very personable but also very helpful in making sure that our car was well serviced so that we can enjoy our car. He also made it known to us on future services that will be needed on our car so that we are aware of what is needed to be done.

I was a walk in with a problem with a tire problem and got immediate service by Jim Hillman. He gave me options and explained everything to me. I left my car overnight because he had to order tires and they were put on the next day It was all in all a wonderful experience.

The owner is fantastic - always has been for years! That's the main reason we come back. I brought my vehicle in for brakes and had a problem as soon as I left. Turns out there were defective calipers and they had it repaired next day! Previously to this visit, my daughter came home from college out of state with her roommate (who lives out of state as well) driving her. She had a big problem with her car along the way. My daughter contacted me from road. I instructed them to take car directly to this Midas and they repaired car in 1 day. The car would have broke and (I'm convinced) wrecked if they hadn't serviced it that day! Thank you again to the great folks at Midas!

Canceling an appointment 5 minutes before is unacceptable and management was not apologetic nor trying to make up for that lack of timely communication when they knew that the shop could not meet their commitment
