Less aggressiveness, I felt like I was being played when give the prices for something I had checked out after and was told I did not need service on currently. I was quoted way too high for something I don’t need right now.
Not lying to customers about needing services they don’t need. For example, I was told my brakes were in bad shape, I had just replaced them a week prior. The list goes on.
The sales associate Carlos Pinto was very helpful to me in scheduling my appointment. He was so courteous on the phone I knew I had to come to this Midas for my service. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the waiting area, and I love the ladies room. It was very well decorated and very clean. I did not mind having to wait for my car to be done, and I did not have to wait very long for the service to be completed. Very satisfactorly! I was in an accident and needed work on my front end. I scheduled my appointment at Midas on capital with ease. Not so easy with other shops, and they had same day service. Brandin was at the front desk and welcomed me. I explained what I needed and he consulted with Ray their head mechanic on duty who immediately advised me of an issue with my vehicle that had not been been aware of. Doing so saved me a lot of time and money. They fixed my issues same day and had me out the door with a quickness. I was surprised and elated at their candor and excellent customer service! They explained everything step by step including pricing in depth prior to servicing my car. They also followed up with me by text to make sure their work was done right! I’ve been in customer service for 25 years and this shop and their employees exemplify excellence and pride in their work. I will ll tell everyone I know to use their services. We were very dissatisfied because I ordered some new tires and set up an appointment online. Online it said it would be $460 for the tires AND the service. But when we picked up the car they said it would actually be $600 something. We were very annoyed for the cheek of the company to not tell us the overall expense before we brought the car in. It was a very low thing for Midas to do to be dishonest like that and to not tell you until your car was finished and you had to pay for it. We probably won’t go back to Midas again.

I will not return to the location that I was serviced at. My back two tires were really bad and they were rotated to the front. Tires were never mentioned in the after summary the tech talked to me but instead issues that they claim but I’ve never experienced were being mentioned and I feel to get money because I’ma female they felt that I would believe whatever they told me. No I’m no idiot I’m sure I’d be the first one to know if my battery was bad I would definitely be having some issues with my vehicle starting, but never been an issue. I know I need a tune up. But never the less note you see my tires should’ve been the first things mentioned to me and should not have been rotated before I had them replaced!

My brakes were in very rough shape and we were ready to head out of town to Florida so I was thrilled to be able to get in for an appointment and have the servicing done.
Customer care was excellent. Information was relayed promptly. Workers were serious about their work, no horseplay or joking was going on. I could tell they were big on being professional and getting the job done so they could move on to the next job.
The general manager and associates were unprofessional and unkind, unable to meet the deadlines THEY set, poor communicators, and unable to take responsibility/apologize for not completing the work on time AND not communicating that with me.

We had to wait for the store to open, but it was because the Manager was pulled over by the police and given a warning ticket. Other than that, the cost was higher than expected, but I did have multiple issues with my truck, so the cost was in line with what all I had to have done to the vehicle.

mentioned i had coupon to get $50 off brake work, I was told it was applied but only discount was City employee discount of $20. Also at the beginning I was told they had all the parts, but after waiting 2hrs I learned that they had to call somewhere to get pads delivered.

I am from the Washington Metro Area and I'm glad to have found Midas here in Raleigh to service my vehicle. It's hard finding a place other than the dealership that you can trust to give you good auto service. Even though Midas is a well known name; it is important that good and reliable service will be provided. As a woman, it is important that you don't feel like they are trying not trying to take advantage of you. My vehicle is 7 yrs old and I tried my best to keep the required service its needed to keep it in workable order. HAD TO WAIT LONG TIME FOR CAR PART
Pricing was good, customer service was good. Midas was a clean environment. They gave me a rent a car so I still had access to complete my day off task.
My only complaint was the amount of time taken for routine service. I expected less than an hour but it took nearly two. I will say that everyone I encountered was kind and polite, and the waiting room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. Despite the wait, this was the best experience I've had with car maintenance in recent memory
Day after picked up car when serviced complete, returned bc to grinding noise. Techs looked at it and said problem fixed, but that “it may still make that sound bc the front rotar was torn up.” The day before service was completed replacing the mechanical arm of the brakes in the front. At that time I had asked about the pads and rotars for the front and was told in no uncertain terms that they were not needed. Then today I was told it would be an additional $400 to replace the rotars “which they could take care of at any time.”

Adam (the desk clerk) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The vehicle was ready ahead of time and my situation was taken care of.
The tires I wanted were listed online but when I called they said those tires were never available. They suggested a different (more expensive) tire and I accepted. I made the appointment only to be told those tires weren't available and they sent me another, even more expensive tire. They told me I would have to put a deposit down, so my roommate drove 40 minutes out of her way to get me my wallet. When I got there they said the THIRD kind of tires weren't available and sold me a fourth kind. My tires were bald and I had a road trip so I couldn't go to someone else, but I absolutely wanted to. Oh, and no deposit was required so my roommate drove all that way for nothing. Originally meant to be $282 and final cost was $415. Would've gone somewhere cheaper and saved money if Midas had been transparent.
I have had many oil changes over the years at many, different companies in different states. My experience at this Midas location in Raleigh was wonderful, as the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the service was performed quickly. The price was a little lower for the synthetic oil change, too, another advantage. The bay areas were spotless so I felt that everyone cared about their workplace and surroundings. I will definitely be back in the future!

It took 1 hour and 50 mins to inspect and change the oil and I had an appointment.

The manager, Jason (which now says the newest employee Aaron is the mgr), knew I requested a Flowmaster Super 44 series exhaust to be installed. The mgr was called when scheduling the appointment to verify the part was in stock, but he also verified it the next day when I came in for the appointment. I could not get it installed on the original day because the installer was scheduled off, so why would they have scheduled an appointment knowing this? I came back the next day to get the Flowmaster installed. I verified with the service advisor what would be completed and waited for the installation. They installed a total fake and knew it!! The manager lied repeatedly about what brand it was until I asked to see the box...it was a Flow Sound exhaust, NOT a Flowmaster. He then tried to tell me this was a better brand than Flowmaster. I could not leave until I paid for their knockoff muffler, a decision that was made after he called the owner. The service advisor, Aaron, also mentioned to Jason that he was called to verify the part was there and I did in fact ask for the Flowmaster Super 44 Series. I want a full refund and installation of Flowmaster Super 44 series exhaust for free!!

Overcharged for service. When I asked for the vehicle inspection that Midas offers, I was told they don't inspect transmissions which was odd because there was a huge ad in the shop stating they offered that service. Car still has rough idle. I'm taking car to another shop to make sure new spark plugs were put in my car. I would give this shop a 1 star but the review wouldn't go through. So I had to give them 2 stars. I hate being lied to.
