Its as simple as they do what they say and say what they do. Very rare these days.
I had been to this Midas location before and was very satisfied and for some reason, I went somewhere else on my last visit a few years ago and that was a big mistake. I am so glad I came back here. They were all so helpful and professional.
I worked with Ed and he was super helpful and I liked that he brought me into the back to show me what was wrong with my car and then even helped me with the koalafi process!

No one wants to have their car serviced
Shawn was dishonest. He said they only had 3 of the tires I requested after I told him the price was different from online. He then said they gave me $199 each tires for $159. But the tires were $159 all along and he clearly did not ever intend of selling me the tires I wanted. Then when I left all tires were severely under inflated 17psi on one and 25psi on the other 3.
My vehicle pull very hard to the left. I came in for an alignment, tire rotation, and inspection. When asked if the alignment was done, he looked at the papers, said “yes”. The papers do not mention an alignment and the car still pulls bad which leads me to believe that the work was never done.

I don’t even live in New York State but when I come here to visit family and friends from Florida, I always visit this Midas. When I lived here in Clifton Park New York I always went to Midas in Latham because Jose, the mechanic is the best I have ever seen and always takes good care of my vehicles
The oil change took over 2 hours because the service associate did not explain that he needed to order the oil filter on the vehicle. My son brought his Honda and was not sure what to do. I told him to ask the manager at the counter, who I am not complaining about because he is great. After over an hour wait he checked and the service associate did not tell anyone that he needed to order the oil filter. After my son left he had to return immediately because of an issue with his tired. The service associate explained that he forgot to torque the tires. This is a problem. Online scheduling didn't work. Other than that, nothing is ever perfect, but I have been satisfied with the service there, feel that they are honest, and have recommended them to others.

We initially went in for a problem with our exhaust system. Upon arriving, we were immediately checked in and it was explained that we could get the oil change we requested same-day, but the exhaust issue would have to be rescheduled due to the time we came in. We made an appointment for the exhaust issue, which was handled promptly the next day. As we were leaving, we realized there was still an ongoing issue with the car. One of the servicemembers test-drove the car for us to further validate the issues we were having. After a brief, but detailed explanation, we scheduled an appointment for the necessary work to be completed the next day. Communication was very consistent on the final day of service. Both my husband and I were in communication with the location and no one got annoyed. We got the information we needed, and the service was completed flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this location, and want to especially thank Dominic, Jay, Shawn, and the unnamed technician that stayed a bit late to help us out! Also, sorry if we misspelled names.

Check in and check out were both slow as the associate was also trying to juggle other tasks and answer the phone. When I went to my car, the floor mat was dirty from oily footprints. I took in and it was cleaned although it took about 15 minutes and was returned to me dripping wet.

My husband 's 1967 Mustang convertible has been in storage for 2 years he needed a new battery and the carburetor rebuilt. The service technician took excellent care of his vehicle and he made my husband feel confident so he had him do the work and the inspection.

Posted labor charges say up to $149/hr however my car was in the shop about an hour and one service alone was $180 in labor. My card was charged before I was given the explanation of charges to dispute this.

Had a different service advisor than who I spoke to earlier in the day. The person I spoke to earlier was super friendly and helpful. The one I encountered when I arrived was a different story. He was abrupt and wasn't interested in anything I had said. I was there for a simple oil change.
I had an appointment at 8:30 am. When I checked in, I was told my car was going to be brought into the shop shortly so I would be done very soon. 50 minutes later the car was not in the shop. I spoke to the desk manager. He apologized and said the shop was running late. The car was then done about 40 minutes later. No charge for the oil change. My only critique is that I should have been told initially that there was a delay with appointments.

Midas have a deal oil change and free tire rotation my first 2 visit they did not tire rotation third time had same happened then I talk to the store guy I said you did not tire rotation and he said oh sorry and then I said that happened twice before.
Came in for services that were supposed to take an hour and a half and took 3 1/2 hours and one service was never even done came home and noticed my inspection sticker was never changed went back to get it taken care of they told me to come back another day and now my back up rear camera is not functioning since I was in for service. In addition I signed up for a middas card and it was like pulling teeth trying to have everything completed.

When I called to make the appt, I asked about the price of the oil change and the associate gave me a quote of $49.99 even after I told him what vehicle I had but when I came in for the appt, the associate first charged me 89.99 and then reduced it to 69.99. Either way it was way over what the associate told me over the phone.

I brought my car I for an oil and filter change and tire rotation using a Groupon certificate. I marked my tires. When dorm, the tires were not rotated, the oil filter was NOT changed. Two extra guarts of oil cost $9.99 EA. I called out on it. They re-did the entire service while I watched!
