I came in to have my front brake pads replaced this last weekend. There were two coupons available on your website for my area store. One offered $10 off $100, $20 on $200, and $30 on $300. The second was $50 off per axle on brakes. I was told by the manager that I could only use the $50 if I got brakes and rotors. The coupon says nothing of the sort and the $50 off coupon should have been honored. This visit cost me an extra $30 + tax which is just wrong. First and last time I come here.
I may be a tough judge but they missed too many opportunities to provide great service. They never discussed the price which went up by over 20% since my last visit. They worked with no sense of urgency at all.
Everyone was very helpful and even when parts were not able to be delivered by Subaru on time, they tried to find a work around.

I had an unexpected breakdown on a Saturday. I was very happy that they were willing to store after towed until what we thought would be Monday. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue the same day within only a few hours. I put my trust in them, not familiar with them, and they delivered not only great mechanical service but customer service as well. They truly turned a potentially bad weekend into a great day.
I was charged for parts. With mark up acceptable I was charged for service. Was a posted amount agreed to.Then I had to pay for an installation fee of the parts above and beyond the service fee. What a rip off.

The counter person was extremely friendly and I felt like he understood my need for a quick oil change. I would have liked it better if we would have discussed whether to use full synthetic or a synthetic blend (we've used the blend in the past with good success), but I wasn't given the choice. I did ask for the tires to be inflated to 38 pounds and they were inflated to 36 pounds. Not sure why they didn't do what I asked. I was kept well informed as to the progress on the vehicle and they didn't try and upsell me anything that I didn't need.
They were able to get my truck in pretty quick and were able to start diagnosis on it. Then they found some things out that were wrong with it in better detail and working together to fix them.

I received oil change. Drove off to run errands. Received call/text from Amber that large pool of oil under car after I left. Asked to return to Midas. So, 6 miles away & turned around praying engine light would not come on. Oil filter was loose. Mechanic replaced filter & apologized. VEry disconcerting from experience. No offer for future free service due to this BIG error. Not sure about future servicing!?
Midas charged me to the hilt to install a new battery. They even kept the credit I should have received for my battery. It was my battery!

Hire management individuals that know how to deal with people. They should not be a condescending confrontational and not willing to resolve an issue. This particular woman Jennifer was a new manager at the place that I’ve been going to for 20 years which I never had a problem with. She came to be manager, and then the prices went up, and when they change the brakes on my car, she sent my car home with bad brake lines, which was very dangerous to say the least. She denied that they were bad when they were there a day ago. I asked her how they could not see the brake lines were so bad when they replace the brake fluids after they replace the brakes, she did not have an answer to that what she did have an answer for was that it was gonna cost me an additional $940 to replace the brake lines. I told her to not touch the car I shopped around I found another place that was $300 cheaper and I talked to the individual that I’m taking the car to now and he said that is a racket because they should’ve known those brake lines were bad so she let that car go out knowing that that was a dangerous situation. I will never ever ever take my car to Midas again!
Nothing to complain got there at my apartment time was seen right away with a short wait time and was explained everything in the detail.
I work weird hours and days, but it was extremely easy to order tires and schedule an appt. Through email. The employees made sure I ordered the best tires for the best price.
From making the appointment to walking out the door when my car was ready, everything was taken care of with professionalism. The waiting area was clean and the coffee was hot.Not my first visit to this location and definitely not my last.

I thought I needed an alignment, they said I didn't. Some places will still try to do the work to make u spend money or try to find something else to charge.

Madison East Midas truly cares about us. They see the customer as PERSON, not just a task. They let me watch the entire time they worked on my car, communicated with perfect clarity what was happening in a way I could understand, and even brought me directly into the shop to show me something under the hood of my car that they noticed! They asked me detailed questions about what could have lead to my ignition problems; they had to keep the car overnight to try and get it to reproduce the problem, but it didn't, because the day before, I had started hiding my car from a person close to me I suspected of tampering with it and causing this problem to increase their control over me. Sounds farfetched, right? But from the moment this person didn't know where my car was anymore, it hasn't had an ignition problem. I'm talking not even ONCE. So the team wasn't able to replicate the problem because it had already been resolved. So anyway, the East team is PHENOMENAL. I've been going to them since the first time I moved to Madison many years ago, and you couldn't PAY me to go to anyone else! Also, they didn't charge me a penny over the diagnosis fee, even with all the time they put in!

I made an appointment for 9:30 am on a Saturday morning. It was confirmed, so I asked if my vehicle would be completed by 11:30am. I explained I had recently found out my brakes were dangerous to drive with and had a wedding to photograph later that day. Midas was able to get my vehicle in at 8:30 am and completed by 10:30 am! I was able to arrive early for the wedding! They not only did an amazing job with my vehicle, but they listened to my situation and showed me compassion by helping me out! On the oil change sticker it was noted they used 5W20 oil. It says right on the filler cap 5W30. I think if they change the manufacturer's recommendation for oil weight you ought to inform me of that and why.
