I have been going to Midas on Taunton Rd, Oshawa since 2012. I have never been disappointed in the service and kindness I received from these professional hard working men. What a joy to be able to trust them with my 2010 Cobalt. This last visit I took my car in early Saturday morning without a scheduled appointment for that day, since Andrew Wise was so kind to me on the phone. He explained that all appointments were booked, but they would try to check on my car to see what was wrong. The work may have to be completed on the following Monday. What a joyous moment when Lee Jenkins called me with the news they would be able to get the work completed. Thank you to Steve West for doing such an amazing job. These 3 men, Andrew, Lee, Steve and those in the work area are a gift to all those who come into their work environment. They have help me keep my car running well, safely and smoothly.

Rear breaks and rotors should never cost $800 for “the lowest price on cheapest parts out there “. That’s all . The staff themselves are 💯 amazing and explained as much as they could as to why I “needed to also get new rotors while doing the pads “, not sure when and why we didn’t do this until current times ? But I chose to trust them and I hope I wasn’t scammed .

The MIDAS location advertised $79.99 for a synthetic oil change. I was charged $10 labor plus $6.95 environmental fee but in receipt it said something else not the env fee. $10 labor should not be charged as it’s not the norm at other oil change places . I was told right wiper blade was worn out and they would sell blades for $19.99 after a discount of $5 from regular price of $25. When k exited I find out they replaced just one wiper blade whereas I thought they will replace both for $20. Anyway I ended up Paying $120 for an oil change. Not a good value for money

My car’s headlight went out. Being a 74 year old woman I called my Midas and spoke to Andrew on Saturday morning. After trying hard to see if he could fit me in to their very busy day, I was grateful to get an appointment early Monday morning. So thank you Andrew. As always I was greeted with a smile and kindness from Lee. After requesting both headlights to be changed, I was content with the final amount of my bill. As I waited, I saw every customer being treated with respect by Lee and Steve and with a lot of knowledge that was easily explained to each customer. Steve spent a huge amount of time explaining to one gentleman what was needed to be changed and fixed and showing him the faulty parts. I was in shock that the man said that he could change the parts himself. Steve treated this man with respect even though I felt the man needed a little shaking to wake up and realize his car was in better hands with this expert.

The whole team were really great. I booked an appointment online before they opened on a busy Saturday and I was given a time of 10am. Dropped it off, they took it in right away and called me with an estimate within 30 minutes. Brakes were done 2 hours later. The inspection said my tires were almost at the point where they needed to be replaced and they had my size in stock and hooked me up with a promo deal that was taking place. Amazing service! Will be back!

I have previously hd MANY issues with my brakes - all my work has been done through Midas so spending another $1000 after spending $1500 a couple years ago has left my kids with no groceries for a couple weeks time. The associate suggested I got a deal while I paid.

Needed a safety, brakes had wear but did not need full replacement. Staff should have communicated better on why replacement needed and failed to do so. It really felt like I was being taken advantage of
I needed an oil change which was done quickly. While there the technician notice a noise in a control arm that was replaced by them about a year ago, which Andrew took extra time to find out if it was still under warranty. It was, he scheduled me in to go back and have it replaced under warranty.
It was a simple tire exchange ( winters off- all seasons on) not really enough time/work spent to give an accurate assessment.

He told me not to worry that he would somehow fit me in. I took my truck there what I thought was going to be way breezy brake job turned into needing all 4 replaced.
