I have brought my vehicle to Midas since I moved here and continue to get service and repairs here exclusively. I get clarification on all issues and even when I drop in without an appointment someone takes time out to address my concern. When a problem is discovered during oil change/service I get informed immediately and a solution is suggested - has to be done now or it can wait. Nothing is done without my agreement and a detailed estimate is given before repair. I trust the experienced and professional employees at Midas and appreciate their willingness to explain a possible problem.

I took my car in for a basic oil change and check rear window thermostat that they attached last year and does not work. Picked up vehicle next day. Thermostat still does not work. They broke the driver door lock and now it is difficult to open and lock. And charged me $160 for an oil change.

Friendly, articulate, patient when explaining the level of necessity of the work needing to be done. The damage was located by taking vehicle for inspection requested by myself. Although an expensive job to fix was discovered, it was immediately evident when I drove away that I had been on borrowed time with faulty brakes.
The staff were very informative and the job was done well. The overall "feel" of the place seemed good.

I have been using Midas for my vehicle repairs and service for many years. The owner, Jason, is the reason why I keep coming back.
I was asked to leave my vehicle the whole day. I said I only had a few hours and they said they would try to fit it in as quickly as possible, I was texted 3 hours later saying it was ready. It was perfect timing. Slightly disappointed they had not vacuumed floor mats and some oily fingerprint marks round door handle, but rubbed off ok, and the quick turn around made up for everything, so a big thanks!
When discussing the types of oils used (conventional / semi-synthetic / full synthetic) I was told semi-synthetic had been used for my vehicle. When I got home an upon reviewing my receipt, the description of the oil installed full full synthetic....????? Also upon driving my car the next time, I figured out that when the technician tried to reset the service interval (days / kms), they had "returned to factory default", which reset all the programmed changes I had made for my vehicle, but did NOT reset the interval to the next service, as when I started the car it told me I had 26 kms to go until the next oil change! I know - lots of cars, lots of different menus, lots of differences.... it was just something I then had to go back through and make all my preferences again; as well as reset the service interval.
The staff looked after me very well. Products ordered and received when expectedand installed as promised.

I had asked to check my tire quality during an oil change/maintenance package; they contacted me to say my tires were in rough shape and needed replacing. They were able to replace them in that same appointment.
I submitted an appointment request through the website and received an email with the cost so I thought that the appointment was confirmed only to discover that the appointment was not confirmed and instead an estimate was given. However, the store associates were willing to allow me to leave the car there in case they could attend to it. They were able to get everything done and I was able to pick up my car. I greatly appreciated them in accommodating given the circumstances. I have never had any issues with them so I will continue to go back.
