I booked my vehicle in on a certain day with expectations it would be returned that day. It was not. I was told it would be returned the following day at noon. I waited at the Midas from noon to 1:30 before it was done.On completion the final bill was $300 more than the estimate I was given as the estimator made a mistake and the owner would not honor the estimate.

I had a popped tire and had to replace one and they ordered it and had me in within a couple days. They got me in way faster than any of the other places I called. Most of the other places I called didn’t even have the tire I was looking for. They got me in a bit earlier than my appointment time too so that I wasn’t late for work. Such nice people working there too. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

I had to look for my vehicle after service, they park it two blocks away from the shop, never found it, so I came back and they had to bring it.
No parking when I arrived and my car was parked kinda far for pickup.
They had my car for 5 days, I got new tires. One of the tires was filled to 50 psi. That’s 20 pounds over what they are supposed to be
I was Highly satisfied with my service as I was able to see my quote upfront online and was booked in less than a week from when I got my quote. I dropped off my vehicle and it was done in less than 2 hours. They explained my questions to me thoroughly and I would definitely go back.
I dropped my vehicle at 1000 but they did not look at it until 30 min before closing. The oil change was completed. Inspection of exhaust was complete but work could not be completed. Told the entire exhaust had to be replaced.
Make sure the tech is available before scheduling an appointment, and do a final inspection of the work and vehicle before letting customer take it home.
I paid a premium price for a back woods job.
This is by far the best midas in Canada. The staff is professional, very accomodating eventhough they were very busy, and helpful. I would return back again for the staff and service.
Improve communication about the status of the service on the vehicle and when it should be ready. A phone call would be fine or the use of text/email would be helpful.

My check engine light came on. I used a diagnostic reader to find the error code, which I provided to the staff. The vehicle was "fixed" but the check engine light came on again, so I took it back. The vehicle was "fixed" a second but the check engine light came on again, so I will have to take it back for a third time. The problem should be fixed the first time, not the third (or maybe more still).

Not only did they accommodate me in a short notice (having booked it in the morning), they did the job in a very short time (30 minutes I think). The mechanic did as the offer for oil change stated (a free checkup) and let me know that the calliper on the rear left wheel was leaking from the piston. I had replaced that in April and the mechanic told me that i should take it back to the mechanic who replaced it. The mechanic who did that confirmed that it was indeed leaking and he would replace it for me at no charge. This was a 10/10 service. I will definitely come back here for a tire change or future oil change.

How on earth could a $88 dollar service turn into $134.00? Just dishonest.
Got a coupon for a 29$ oil change and tire rotation but the bill ended up being over 110$. I had my summer tires to be put on, which were on rims, with the oil change yet they charged me 65$ for this service.
Not all mechanics are equal, initial break inspection was not done properly, had to return next day and replace rotors
Your workers fixed something completely irrelevant to what the actual issue was. And they also manipulated the dates in the report (I had to bring to their attention and have it changed prior to signing)
If someone is waiting for their car to be serviced don’t wait 35 minutes before even taking it in for a service that only takes 30-45 minutes in total. I was late for work when I clearly said at check in time I worked and that 1.5 hrs would be adequate ?
The staff are friendly and attentive to customer needs. They even offered to give me a ride home while I waited for my vehicle. The price points are very good as well, in most cases cheaper than anywhere else.
This is the second time I have been quoted thousands of dollars more than other places, with no options. The information I am given from the Midas workers is extremely different information than what others are telling me.
I was expecting some detailing around the pricing before the task was performed. Also while handling over , the machanic should have describe a little bit in detail on the task performed on the vehicle.
It was a horrible experience. The guy who checked me in told me that my vehicle will be ready by 1pm for sure. However, nobody give me a call so I called them after 4pm and he said "oh, your vehicle is ready to go, I am not sure why you didn't get a call" He didn't apologize or anything. Anyhow I went to the shop to pick up the key and it took me more than 20 minutes and the only reason is that two of them were fighting (arguing) each other in front of me and didn't even say nothing. Very disappointed and I was so upset. I will never go back this location again.
One would expect a copy of inspection report after it is done. Only verbal communication that xx needed to be replaced and it will cost xx amount. Otherwise inspection would fail....
This location was the second location called. They honored an online promotion on the last day, the other location did not. Got there first thing in the morning, dropped vehicle. The tires showed up an hour earlier than stated (under promise, over deliver). The associate took a coffee order for the other customers waiting and then went and picked up coffee and muffins for the shop. Good conversations with the staff, good communication about the process and over all great experience.
Staff are friendly and helpful to clients. Offer good solutions and try to schedule service so client is not waiting a long time.

I would like to know with certainty that an inspection, tire rotation, windshield fluid was all checked and the car is winter ready. I had to ask the man at the desk several times, I was not convinced by his reaction. $39.00 deal does not mean $51. total, that was not specified. The Man at the register was to call me when the car was ready, I was walking around killing time, on my own accord I returned to find out the car is ready, no one bothered to call me, I had a time sensitive destination I needed to be at. Not happy with the service at all.
They found an additional issue with my car that require repair (had to replace a bolt on the wheel well). They could not provide an update as to when they would receive the parts. If they had performed my inspection the first thing in the morning I would not have to have been without my vehicle all day.Also the nut that they put back on as a replacement did not even match the other nuts. The online appointment manager had times available, but then I got a call back and they told me it would be several days later. The oil change was supposed to include tire check, my tires were low on air when I came in, and I asked if they had filled them, they said yes. But when I drove off the tire pressure light was still on, air is still low. They told me the wait would be 45 minutes, I waited 2 hours. The prices on the website and posted on the wall inside were both wrong. I was quoted a completely different price than what’s listed which just so happened to be more expensive than what’s listed online. I chose Midas based on the ad price I saw when searching online, and they would not honor that price.

I had a rattle under my car. I expected an expensive repair to the exhaust system. I was pleasantly surprised to get a very small bill for a simple heat shield repair. I was impressed with their honesty and professionalism
Basic oil change nearly took 2 hours to get done. My car was in the parking lot for 65minutes before being brought in the service bay. After the work was done, my car sat in the parking lot again for about her 10minutes. I actually had to tell the service guy desk that my car is ready. Two people were at the desk busy competing service quotes while I was made to wait again while they finished their quotes. It is not great customer service to make paying customers wait to do a quick payment. In addition, another customer prior to me was offered the Midas coupon without being prompted by the customer while I was never offered the same oil change coupon - I had to bring it up. In addition, I was charged $10 more than what was advertised on the coupon. The person at the desk did not discuss with me the breakdown of the costs. The whole process took too long and nothing was ever communicated to me about the process and the duration of an oil change service.

It was never communicated that my car was done, by the end of the day I decided to call (the front receptionist had told me they’d call when it was ready) but they had closed the location. It took a GOOGLE REVIEW for them to respond to my calls. Also did not return my tires. I will be back to get my tires but I will never be serviced by Midas again. Unprofessional to the extreme.
They were very friendly and helpful. They explained what was going to happen and what happened. The tech forgot to change a broken break light, so I told him and it was changed right away.

The Midas on 16th ave was great, because they only sold me the services I needed. I could trust them. I also saw the main guy at this Midas try to take cash for a delivery without taking the invoice and he yelled at another technician while I was there. I think his name was Mo. impressed with most everything at Midas, except this guy.
