I brought in a coupon for a conventional oil change. After taking my car back, I was told that my Hyundai Elantra required 5W20 and that was a synthetic blend which would cost another $5.00. Because I had been there before and didn't experience this issue, I asked for an explanation and was told by Antonio that 5W20 didn't come in conventional oil. I needed my oil changed so I approved. Today I looked up on the internet and discover that 5W20, 10W20, and 10W30 (all recommended for my car) are available as conventional, blend, and full synthetic. So why was I mislead and charged more? And why was the additional charge listed as $1.19/qt for 5-quarts which is inconsistent with the 4.2 quarts capacity of my car when you are pumping this from a large container and not actually opening 5 individual quart bottles?Furthermore, I run 35lbs tire pressure which is 2lbs over the manufacture's stated amount; but without asking, my tires were reduced to 32lbs which isn't even what is on the placard. Obviously this needs correcting and an improved process put in place.
They were flexible with my appointment. The staff was awesome and helpful. They kept me updated during my whole appointment. Prices were fair and service was done on time.

I booked the appt online after hours and received an email that they would contact me at opening to confirm. After waiting an hour, I called and they did not have my appt information but said I could come in. I waited for over 2 hours to be told what the problem was and estimate cost. My husband knows mechanics and verified the cost of the part(s) and confirmed with other locations. The labor cost was fine - high, but fine - however, the part(s) were over 100% of actual cost and triple the cost to repair at other locations. The lady who checked me in was very nice and the man who spoke with my husband was fine, but was frustrated that I was waiting for hours for an assessment and see him standing there smoking inside the garage area without any urgency.
I have been using this Midas location for over 20 yrs because of the excellent service I have always received. In addition, I trust them to tell me exactly what my car needs, and not try to sell me unnecessary services.

I checked my brakes prior to making appointment. (They appeared good). After your inspection, I was advised that I needed new pads and rotors, to the tune of $562.27. I questioned this and was told that the rotors were out of spec and that my pads were worn down. I advised I would let you know. I then went to another reputable mechanic in Clarksville and was advised that my pads were virtually brand new (I just recently purchased vehicle) and that my rotors were fine. I was curious as to why Midas would try to get over $500 from me when that service was clearly not needed???
Check in was very simple. The associates were very informative and let me know what was going on with my vehicle.
I do appreciate being able to get my car in quickly. Stephanie explained what was wrong (that the compressor went out) and mentioned what they were going to do to our car and within a time range that worked out great.

My car is supposed to have 7.5 liters of oil but the mechanic only put 5.5 liters in the car. After driving for 1/2 mile my oil engine fill light came on. I had to take car back. Also, I did not have the mileage input into the system, so there is record of me getting oil replaced but no record of mileage. Lastly, this Midas usually gives me a printout of what was checked, and what might need to be re-placed. No such printout, no idea how much left on braking pads. Washer fluid not filled.
