For the ultimate oil change service it said the oil was included with the service but I still had to pay separately for the oil change which is false advertising in my opinion.

Be honest about prices and services, and take ownership when mistakes that are made. I didn't get an apology or accommodation for having to leave my car for a second because the wrong tire was order and put on my car. I had to bring the car back and let the rep know the tire was different and caused my steering to pull to the right. He told me the tire was the correct tire before even looking at it. Then, someone else came out and said oh you have to leave it another night that's your only option we will call you tomorrow. I have a warranty for my tires and was told I would have to pay over $200 more after the coverage. Rep quoted me $569.99 for a tire that was only $464.99 on the Midas website and $409.99. I did my own research to find the price match guarantee and when I asked the rep about price matching he only gave me the Midas website price.

- came in for an oil change with no one else there, someone that came in for an oil change 20 minutes after me left 30 minutes before I did- Air filter was offered to be replaced which I agreed to (initially price quoted was $60 but it then magically was $40 when I said no), wasn’t told until paying that they didn’t have the part so did not do the replacement- Service interval was not reset (which was done last year by this location during oil change), had to return to ask for this to be done, was told it could not and then was treated incredibly rudely by employee when I said this is a standard thing done by them, that employee then asked the person next to him if he “knew what this guy is talking about” and that employee immediately fixed the issue - asked to speak with manager, was told none was available, asked for the employees name who was rude, was told they would not provide that

I loved how I was texted a checklist of what they did. They showed what was good and what work needed completed. I especially liked how they sent the photos of my brakes and rotors to show which were fine and which needed to be replaced

The tech that I worked with Justin was very thorough and going over the routine maintenance for my car. We discovered an oil leak coming from a part of the engine and he was able to explain to me the dire process to figure out where the leak was coming from. There's really no point in scheduling appointment times. My appointment was for 2:30 and my car wasn't touched until at at least 3:30. Paperwork states tire rotation was performed but you couldn't prove that by me, nothing was explained to me, had to ask what type of oil was used. Did not reset oil life gage. Literally had to ask to be cashed out. Never have this type of experience at the dealer. Would I come back? Not likely but never say never.
They do a great job on oil changes and performed an overall safety check. Told me what I would need and the urgency to get each thing done.

For oil changes and tires, Midas is amazing and I have been highly satisfied returning to my local Midas for years. However, the costs on repairs are always much more than a local mechanic so I usually end up leaving to take my car somewhere else for bigger issues. Unfortunately, my recent issue was a big one that made my car unsafe to drive, so I paid for the overpriced repair at Midas simply for the convenience of my car already being there for an oil change, but I could have saved over $100 going to any local mechanic. Corporate pricing just isn't very competitive in this area, and for that reason I am never highly satisfied when I need more than routine maintenance, and that's corporate's fault, but I am always highly satisfied with the guys at my local Midas.

"Stay away from this place. They screwed up installing a new radiator in my F150 pickup by not bleeding the air out of the cooling system. The engine started overheating and the manager, Kevin B., tried telling me I needed to replace the engine head gaskets to fix the problem. They charged me $1075 for the new radiator and the engine overall would have been another $1500 easy. I knew there was nothing wrong with the engine and Midas was just trying to take advantage of me because I was from out of town. I had my truck towed to another shop and they fixed the problem by getting the air pocket out of the cooling system and adding coolant. My cost was $112 including the towing charge. I tried contacting Midas customer service about being reimbursed for my additional out of pocket expenses to fix their ***** up but that was a complete waste of time. The Midas District Manager, Paul C., doesn't return my emails or phone calls. DO NOT GO HERE! "
I think Midas buys the cheapest parts possible and charges an arm and a leg to the consumer. I have been driving and owned many cars over the last 40 years and NEVER had this problem with brakes on any other vehicle. They have replaced the pads several times now, only for the loud and embarrassing squealing to start a few days later. I suggested if it wasn’t the pads, maybe it’s the rotors. Just keep replacing the pads with the same outcome. I am so frustrated over this experience and because of this will never use Midas in the future for anything.
