The pricing I was presented with at the end of my service did not match the coupon I had them enter at check-in. The coupon said $59.99 for a full-service oil change including 5 quarts of oil and the filter. I understood that my car required an extra quart and that there was a disposal fee. I did not argue against either of those two charges but they only should have added $13 to the $59.99 coupon bringing the total to $72. I was told I owed nearly $90 and when I asked how the $59.99 coupon plus the $10 quart and $3 disposal fee added up to $90, I was met with a defensive attitude saying "I don't want to play the calculator game, this is all done by the computer". I understood that but I felt the coupon was entered incorrectly. Instead of entering $59.99 for the service, they entered $30 off which is not the same. This conversation only took 15 seconds and the employee was acting like I was arguing with them for 5 minutes. They ended up knocking $10 off which I accepted simply to end the interaction.
I didn't know it would be an additional cost for more than 5 quarts of oil. I paid almost 20$ more for a quarter of oil. I was not told verbally that I may have an oil leak.

Don’t smoke in peoples cars or around them with the windows down during servicing it, did not appreciate my car smelling like cigarette smoke after maybe an hour of work for getting an oil change done. Other than that you guys would have gotten a good review.
Mike and Marcus are honest managers and make an effort to see my car as soon as possible even without an appointment. Scheduling online was very easy. This location is within walking distance of my home. The employee at the counter was straight forward. The price was fair. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything although it was suggested I add filters to my purchase, which I did.
I brought in my 2014 Subaru with a $20 coupon for high mileage vehicles. They had three tiers of oil changes available they explained the differences to me. I chose the middle which apparently couldn’t be done to my vehicle, for reasons that were not made clear. Why explain all three to me and ask me what I want, only to tell me that the most expensive one is my only option? My husband had taken his ‘06, high mileage Honda Ridgeline for the same oil change (middle tier) and nobody said a word to him of course. When he paid he got a receipt that said the total, and showed minus $20. When I got my receipt, only $15 had been taken off and there were extra shop fees added so I didn’t end up saving any money at all by using this coupon and coming to midas, I actually paid more here than I usually do for an oil change. I am always weary of going to new auto places as a woman, especially as a currently pregnant woman, because they think I’m just stupid or something and can charge me extra and not explain things properly. I won’t be going back to midas for car needs, I don’t trust them.
