The service manager answered all my questions about future service and was a "no pressure" experience. Some of the competitors try a VERY heavy "up-sell" which never works on me. This Midas location on E Tropicana made me feel like I had a friend in the industry. Great cookies too! 😀

"i have a 1966 mustang that i had the muffler replaced in 1979, over 40 years later, it has rotted away. the life-time warranty was still in the glove box (your defective muffler will be replaced as long as you own your car) well, i went in one day, and was told only 1 tech could properly inspect it. (how hard is it to look at a rotted out muffler) came back the next day, and spent 2 hours in the waiting room, waiting for the technician to check it. they said yes, it had failed-BUT because Midas originally welded my muffler on, the could not replace it (they were ALL welded on back then, why a muffler shop no longer does ANY welding doe not make sense to me). i feel this was an excuse to not honor the warranty. i have since lodged a complaint with Midas corporate relations (800-621-8545), and have gotten no response. i now think their lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on. all i can say is BEWARE!!!"

The experience I had today at Midas was exceptional! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with such a warm welcome. They took a look at it. I needed a lot of repairs. As I was waiting I was offered coffee and we had a great conversation. I felt very comfortable getting my truck repaired here. My truck runs nice and smooth now. It feels like a new truck!!
