For the car, I had complete brake job completed and discovered that e-brake was not installed correctly. This created significant issues in driving the car and ultimately the car was towed for the repairs. The car is mainly driven on the road highways and this could have a significant impact and risk for the driver.

I lost a windshield wiper during a snowstorm on my way to the airport. Thankfully, I was only about half a mile from Midas in Randolph, NJ. The associates were extremely accommodating and acted quickly to help me. Although they did not have my windshield wiper blade size in stock, they went out of their way to work with a local auto parts store to have the right one delivered. They moved quickly to put the new blade on, ring me up, and get me back on the road to make my flight!
The employees should make pricing clear ahead of time. I felt that Arthur was intentionally dishonest when he did not tell us that paying for wheel alignment was a necessary component of the buy 3 get one free tire deal.

As I was leaving I noticed the heat shield was not removed. I advised the manager on duty who advised technician ADAM to remove it. He gave me such an attitude and was carelessly removing the heat shield wrong. He then started acting like a fool while under my car insulting me by mocking my voice in a disturbing matter. Once he got the heat shield off he flung it across the workshop and gave me the nastiest look then slammed the garage door in my face. Was going to alert the supervisor but he was on the phone and had customers in the shop. I think Adam needs to be reminded that I have been to your shop over 16 times it's documented in the computer ..... Repair cost is so expensive though this Midas uses after-market parts/cheaper parts, and technicians are not well-trained as compared to Dealers'. They don't make sure everything is restored back propertly after repair. They miss many things that customer needs to come back to fix it again. Simply this branch is greedy for the money for the quality of the work they deliver.

Determined problem Tuesday morning but part was not received until late Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday, I was told it would probably be done that day. On Wednesday I was told the part would definitely arrive and job would be completed. I asked for a call on Wednesday to make sure it was done and received no call. I called Thursday and was told it was almost done. I feel like that was a long time to get the part and get fixed. A call on Wednesday to let me know the car would not be completed that day wood have helped.

I was so happy to hear that Kyle (manager) was back for the day. Sorry to hear that it was only for the day though. Miss him. His customer service is above and beyond. He is kind, caring, and handles his customers incredibly well. There is never any question as what the charge is going to be, and expectations for getting our vehicle finished quickly goes above and beyond. Our experiences with him have always been exceptional. I'm sorry to see him go (as I understand he was moved to a different midas).

Honestly, your employees made me uncomfortable. They were nice and knowledgeable to us as customers, but were aggressive to each other. The poor girl that works the front desk was so sweet, but was consistently being talked down to by another employee. It was hard to watch. She was lovely, and deserves a raise to be honest. The boss also made it clear he did not like someone we knew within the company, which was highly unprofessional of him to do. On top of your extremely high prices, as well as being told I needed work that several other car service places said I did not need (including the manufacturer of my car), I will not be coming back.

Every time I call in I have to explain who I am and almost everytime we are done with servicing no stickers to show next service and oil dripping from under the truck which ends up getting on our customers driveways and upsetting our customers. Numerous occasions fluids not topped off and multiple times maintenance required light not reset. Just not the best service

Clean hands before driving car or clean steering wheel after done. Seat had two black spots from when worker was looking for the wheel lock that I had put on driver floor and told service rep when dropping off car. Worker also went through glove box, arm rest, and trunk making a mess of my items and ever pulling out stuff and leaving it all over the floor. Tier steamer valves were loose and about to fall off after a 2 mile drive home after having 4 new tires put on. Seat was dirty from black stuff while looking in arm rest or glove box or from back of shirt. A simple wipe of seat and steering wheel is easy and yet missed. Work that was done seems to be good but still hearing a noise that I described and wasn't fixed. So curious if a check was done during the two mile test drive was done? His customer service demeanor is top notch! He always takes care of our cars promptly. We had a major tire issue this Dec 23, 2021 @4:30pm. I knew how great of a guy he is, so I called, in a bit of a panic. He told me to bring it over and he would check to see if he could get not 1 but both back tires. He would call me if he could get the tires the next day - it was Christmas Eve...We told him, not to worry, we could get the car AFTER Christmas. We didn't want him or his staff working on Christmas Eve if they didn't have to. Well...we received a call 12pm on Christmas eve. Not only did he get the tires, but the work was complete, and we could go get the card. Kyle and his staff ROCK!

The Associate who initially diagnosed the problem very clearly explained what was wrong, what it would cost to fix it, and the length of time it would take. He showed me on the vehicle (which was on the lift) the broken pipe and an oil leak. All of my interactions at Midas were similarly excellent.

They recommended an engine mount replacement costing $750 but never mentioned that changing engine mounts can be done as part of a timing belt change which is a job I also need doing. Gouged me. Go to a local mechanic avoid these criminals.

These people are nice until you question there work. Ted put my good tires in the front instead of the back. I researched this and one should put your best tires in the rear not in the front. All reputable tire companies recommend better tires in the rear
