My decision to have my prior oil changed by another shop in March 2022 led to a refusal on the part of Midas to do the service after YEARS as a customer.
I had a Tune-up check to see what condition my car was in. they recommended services with a price. When I went to get the Service recommended (3-4 later) With the estimate print out in hand, they put it into the computer and it was almost 200 dollars higher. when I mentioned it to the employee they checked and brought it down to close to what I believe it mshould have been (within 30-40 dollars) but they price quoted should have been what was originally given to me.
Every time I come to this Midas it costs me hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars. I just want to come in there one time and they don't find was to make money on my car. I can never come in there and be an hour or two. it always four to five hours with or without an appointment.
I received a coupon the next day after my vehicle was repaired for brake service. Ask customer for a secondary phone number. I should have gotten some kind of discount seeing I always get my oil changed and vehicle repair at the same location.
They always get work done. The workers are experienced and know what they are doing

They were ok. I felt they first tried to turn me away for a oil change because my miles didn't match up. I explained that I don't drive as much so my mileage wouldn't match up but my 3 months is due. They then tried to fight me with that because my oil light wasn't coming on which is was for a week. So they then decided to check the dip stick. I guess it was time. Now I asked if they seen anything the said no. After I get my oil change they tell me my oil pan leaking. ...smh

I brought in a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. Did not do tire rotation. After telling them this was part of coupon they did not comply.
I brought my car in because of a grinding noise when I accelerated. Midas told me I needed new rotors and a dust shield. The problem was I needed a new transfer case!!! There is NO WAY they could have driven the car (as they said) and not known the problem was not with the wheels. I'm not a mechanic and I knew they answer was BS when then told me.
