Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told they wouldn’t rotate tires unless I balanced them. They balanced them and never rotated tires. Clearly can see the brake dust on the front two tires. Additionally, I specifically asked them at the counter if they topped off my coolant because in the notes it said it was low. They said yes. After getting home and checking it was clear they also didn’t do that. First time here. Used to go to Midas all the time in VA before I moved but will never be back to this location.
This location is right by my house so very convenient.

Charging an “alignment assessment fee” to tell me you can’t do an alignment, and then charging an additional fee to have a tech look at it to decide what’s wrong with the vehicle is insane. It’s not difficult to know why you can’t do an alignment and it looks like a racket. Are you telling me you have people doing alignments who aren’t certified, or just the guy doing the assessment?
Routine oil change was overdue the shop accommodated me waiting while serviced and offered me a loaner car Was done within 2 hours and got a full report card too

Don’t wait until my tires have been removed then reinstalled to tell me they can’t be rotated because they need balancing. How did they know they needed balancing. I didn’t see them test each tire.

I have used Adam's two locations for the last 12 years and moved 45 minutes away from the shops over the summer. I chose to travel the distance to have service completed by Adam's shop because I trust him and his employees tremendously. I have never been dissatisfied with the service I have received from either locations. I will continue to travel the distance to use these two locations for my car care.
Lower your prices! I was initially told that my car would be 2300. I told them not to do the service they told me they speak with someone then call me back. They called back and told me the price was 529. I asked what changed in 5 minutes. Could not clearly explain. I then proceeded to have my dad call and he asked them to just put the coolant in and we would bring it back at a later date. I picked my car up today and my car was in worse condition than it was when i took it in. My car was smoking and all my oil leaked out. Moral of the story is i had to get a brand new car today. I will never bring my car back to any midas as they are over priced and very rebellious!

I took my vehicle in at noon. I had to call to check on it just before they closed and was told it can be foxed Monday. So I was without my vehicle for the weekend
My biggest issue is with the website to submit an appointment. The request apparent defaults to drop off. Who in their right mind when give 5 different choices of times would choose drop off. An appointment is an appointment. A drop off is something totally different and when that button is selected, than only two time should appear, not five. When I chose 8:00 am, I did so because I was hoping to get an oil change and tire rotation and be done by 9:00 am. I unfortunately found out that was not the case. Recommendation to Midas website staff. Update the app and do NOT allow the request to default to Drop Off. That is a ridiculous use of a default. Customer's don't select an appointment time to drop off a vehicle.
This location is less than 2 blocks from my house, and I always am able to make a timely appt. I am treated fairly and professionally each time. During this Tune-Up appt, my oil pan cover became loose, and fell off my car a couple of days later. I brought back my vehicle, and someone re-installed it within the hour. Very pleased with my overall experience.

When I take my car in to Midas for an oil change, they always inform me of any discrepancies found during checkup; this information has been very beneficial to me.
First repair was $372.97. Four days later muffler fell off again. Was charged $439.27 for second repair. The manager? said the second repair was due to a different problem with the tailpipe. I was told two parts had to be modified as the car is a 1991 mini rover. I understand that, however, I do not understand how a trained mechanic could not look at the muffler system and determine that additional work would be needed, first visit.I believe $800 to replace a muffler is prohibitive. I would not refer anyone to your company nor would I bring any other vehicle to you. Nothing more than a $ scam.

I have been taking both of my cars to this location and they front desk staff has always been very friendly up front and no pressure. The cost of service there is very reasonable and the work is done right. They will detail what service is you need at the moment and what can wait for later. They also give you update as the work is being done on your car.
They oil change was completed while I waited. I was a few minutes late for my appointment and was able to accommodate me. The guy throughly explained other things I needed done and help me understand with the pictures they took and also ones he drew for me.

And why didn't you tell this the day before when we were on the phone.Then I'm told, we will call you, there is a long list of people like you, once we get a machine, you will go in the stack. I explained before I bought tires, I'm going on 2 long trips in Dec and Jan. Now I have to hope I get the alignment before this or risk the tires being damaged.They knew they couldn't do the alignment! Even though I was in the waiting room additional services suggested by Midas were texted to me . I did not read theses until after leaving with my car. This included tire balancing and engine air filter change. If someone had told me this was needed I would have had it done during the same visit. Sal Tirado directed his employees to begin services on my vehicle without confirming first. He told them and then told me what they were about to do. He then claimed he didn’t realize I was just there for a tire inspection. My appt was at 1:00, they were done looking at my tire and had communicated that it was bent within 20 min, but I did not leave until 1:47. The additional 27 minutes was Sal taking an extremely long time to price our estimates I did not ask for all while chitchatting with customers and other employees. I was clearly in a hurry and at one point he chucked my keys from his side of the desk to mine.Sal was disrespectful of both my things and my time. He tried to start services I didn’t agree to and when I said no he said “Oh it will be like $12?” He is not making your customers feel valued and I will absolutely never go to another Midas location if you are the kind of company that lets people like him manage your stores.

The person at the front has very bad customer service skills. While I waited in the lobby for my oil change, I was not informed that my vehicle was ready. I sat and watched him get my paper work ready place it in an envelope along with my key (only one other person in the lobby) and shoved it to the side.... Seeing this behavior, I waited a few minutes for him to say something to me... NOTHING!!! I had to ask if I was done, and he just push my keys and paperwork and didnt say anything..

I was informed after my oil change that I needed to have my radiator hoses changed. I was quoted a cost of nearly $ 400 for this process. I looked up the prices of the hoses from an auto parts store and seen they were $ 100 less in cost for these parts. I

They charged me for things I didn't get. And by the time in realized It's to late to do anything about it. I would never return to them for anything and highly recommended NOT TO GO THERE. If you do go to them double check your invoice before leaving.
