NO BAIT AND SWITCH OR UPSELLING!

While bait and switch and upselling are the most common ripoff scams practiced by the majority of auto shops around our nation, Midas Fairfax, VA refuses to partake in such quackery. The manager, John, has to be one of the finest customer service professionals in the entire DMV. Superb ethics aside, the service could not be any better--second to none!

Oil change was done in a timely manner. However, the technicians could not figure out how to re-set the maintenance reminder light. After a period of time I told them I'll figure it out. Took the car home, looked up the procedure on the internet and re-set light within 2 minutes. I never received a follow up call from Midas to determine if I was able to complete the process.
