A Closer Look: The Open Country R/T features an all-terrain tread design with open, scalloped shoulder blocks for remarkable off-road grip and performance. Stone and mud ejectors force stone and mud from tread grooves, while the optimized tread pattern reduces road noise for enhanced driving comfort. The durable sidewall compound provides side-impact protection and offers customization with a distinct look on each side of the tire. For the final layer of safety and toughness, the Open Country R/T’s LT-Metric and Flotation sizes come in 3-ply construction, and 2-ply construction for P-/Euro-Metric sizes.
