General manager was absurd. Initially tried to charge me over $400 more than the Buick dealer. Clock spring replacement was over $1000.00 . I called while I was there to Buick dealer and it would cost unter 600.00 plus tax installed. When inquiry was made about excessive price manager kept my keys to lecture me. Your general manager threatened to smear my own business with bad reviews on the net. He had already taken my charge card and given it back to me implying he had already charged me. I finally told him I was calling the police if he did not give my keys. He did lower the price some but this employee is a very volatile individual. Threatening my business was absurd. Communicate with the customer that certain products on their website are not available before the customer arrives at the location. The tire I ordered was “no longer made” even though it is still for sale on the website. For me to get a tire that day, I had to pay $100 extra. A little bit of communication within the 5 days that I made my appointment would have been fantastic.

What concerned me after leaving the business and reviewing the invoice, Courtesy Hyundai last used 5W-30 synthetic blend oil. I have their invoice and reminder sticker--I did not make a mistake. That is what I requested and "even left a courtesy note on the steering wheel to use 5W-30" and to ensure you used synthetic blend, not conventional oil; however, invoice indicates you installed 5W-20. Have done a lot of research on which level to use and clarified it with the Hyundai dealership, that is what I requested and expected. Both are most likely acceptable but I'm not a high mileage driver and only have 12,000 miles on my 2019 vehicle. Yes, price was the same for either type but I need to trust any business who works on my vehicle. If you use a product different from what the customer requests, they need to know in advance, not after the fact. Came to Midas because dealerships take 3-1/2 hours for an oil change--that is unacceptable.
Fix cars correctly. I paid $1400+ For my car to be broken. My car sounded like a Ford F-150 when I picked it up. I went back into the shop I asked a technician to come take a look and he said he felt the vibration but nothing seem to be wrong. I’ve had my car for almost 5 yrs and it never sounded or felt how it did when I picked it up. Also the guy who checked me out had a smirk on his face when I returned as if he knew they didn’t fix it right. That’s so discouraging being that I know nothing about cars. In fairness, I did have an emergency when I brought car in. I expected to wait awhile, but it took 6 hours. Auto parts store brought broken part which delayed the repair. But all the service guys were great. Major kudos to them. It was busy. But I was satisfied with the result despite the length.

I went in to get a squeaky right rear brake look at. The guys were prompt to get my car into the garage to take a look. Marcus came back within 20 minutes to show me the brake pad and said it was glazed over which was causing the squeaking. It was so nice
