Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

Get the most from your performance vehicle with these class-defining tires. This is what the makers choose for cars like the BMW Alpina Z8, McLaren SLR, Porsche GT2/GT3 and Ferrari F430.

• Class-leading cornering and straight-line performance

• Superb combined wet and dry handling

• Resists hydroplaning

A Closer Look: The Pilot Sport PS2 features two different tread rubber compounds. A semi-slick outer tread of hybrid silica/carbon black compound joins a high-silica compound that continues to the tire's inside shoulder. The combination stays grounded in wet weather or dry, through wicked corners and down straight highway.

On the inside, two high-tensile, lightweight steel cord belts with precisely placed individual Aramid/nylon hybrid filaments help the Pilot Sport resist distortion for predictable handling.

NOTE: The Pilot Sport PS2 is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
