A Closer Look: The NT01 competition radial features large continuous tread blocks and lateral grooves, but the tread can be shaved down to 3/32” to act as a race slick with two circumferential grooves. The racing-inspired tread compound balances dry traction, consistent handling and heat resistance for competition-ready performance. Thanks to its reinforced sidewall and large shoulder blocks, which maximize road contact, this tire delivers predictable handling and stability during cornering, braking and acceleration.
