observed advertisement in lobby wheel alignments free, when asked if that after tire could have rotation and oil change completed, it was told it's not free.so why confuse consumers with the word FREE. They did not clean my white powder corrison on the battery cables they told me about (lazy ) nor did an air cabin filter check thru my glove compartment for a new one. I had to take this to Les Schawb who did complimentary customer cleaning battery free and $18.00 for cabin air filter insert all took 45 minutes t0 60 min. Should this not be included checks by MIDAS company esp to loyal customers who bring them business whenever possible during the year. If it were not for the friendliness of the owner, would not keep returning here.

Your prices are higher than other mechanics. Your lifetime warranty on brakes was unclear. This means I wasn't fully convinced of the price to the product I was purchasing. When I asked the gentleman to tell me the amount of miles the brakes were good for, he simply answered that they have a lifetime warranty and to come back if there were any issues with the brakes. He explained that if I did have to take the vehicle back for brakes, I would only be charged labor and not parts. My understanding is that all brakes wear down, eventually. A non-salesman explanation would have been better. Especially because I had already purchased the product. Other than that I have no other issues. Front staff was friendly and professional.

I used your app to attempt my service. I got a message that someone would call me in the next 30 minutes. Never got that confirmation. I went to site to get a reading for an Check Engine light. Based on your TV commercial I figured the reading was a courtesy service. Nope! I was quoted a $140 estimate. No problem as I was 300 miles from home. Got great service with the reading and a detailed explanation and confirmation that I could drive my car home without damaging my car. I may bring my car back next time in town. Doesn’t your TV commercial give the appearance that the reading is free??

The business was clean and inviting. I hadn’t been here since the new owner took over in 2020. This is a really big improvement. The editing area was nice and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. We came with an extra problem besides the oil change we had scheduled. The analyzed the problem, gave me a quote and time to do it. They did the work quickly and we were very satisfied with the service. I will tell others of this location and highly recommend them.

Staff was very kind and friendly. I’m a big fan of full communication. They communicated thoroughly from the first phone call so it made my customer end to easy.

Before starting the oil change they asked me to sign a cost estimate because of the quantity of oil required. While the truck was on the lift they informed me that it was almost finished and that they “got the tires rotated for you.” While I’m paying for the bill I eventually took notice of an approximately $40 labor fee for the rotation. I never requested it, they never presented it as an option and performed the work without my permission. It’s my fault I suppose for not catching it sooner but it looks like the Visalia shop got an extra $40 out of me.

I received a online coupon from the midas web, it was sent to me for a oil change price but when I showed it to the from desk clerk. I told me that those coupon were expired even though it showed valid. I was charged way more than the price from the coupon. I changed there because I was doing this before work the I was going out of town, otherwise I would of left the store without the oil change.

We made an appointment the night before. When I arrived for the appointment, the manager told me there would probably be a three hour wait. I told him I was really disappointed about that, we were just traveling through the state and wanted to get the brakes checked before we went any further. He told me he understood and that he would personally get to it as soon as possible. About 15 minutes later, he told me he had taken it for a drive and had not been able to recreate the problem noise, but he would also have the techs take it apart. About 20 minutes later, he told me they had checked everything and the brakes were completely fine. He took it for another drive afterwards just to be sure.I was so pleased with his empathy and professionalism. He only charged us $50 for thoroughly checking it out, and that money was well worth it for the peace of mind. He then went on to suggest several places we should visit in the area if we had time, which all turned out to be wonderful recommendations. We would definitely go back to him if we were in town again, and recommend him to everyone we know. We're so grateful for all of his help.

I think overall Midas in Visalia provides good service. The employees are polite and waiting is not an issue if you are busy. They also offer a ride home if you don't want to wait for your car at their shop. Great job!
