Well I scheduled 2 appointments online at the Concord, California Location on Monument Blvd Friday and Saturday. Both times I was not called..appointment not confirmed but they never called me once and both appts passed. I called Walnut Creek Midas on N Main street and he said come on down. Experience was fine. I went for an appointment, but they did not have the correct oil filter and needed to order it. I learned they were short handed that day, so I don't blame the person who helped me - they gave me options, apologized for not having the inventory and told me when to bring my car in later that week. If I'm going to nit pick, then it would be nice if the Midas online booking system had a feature to check local inventory and advise at the point of booking that the part needed ordered and to book later. Again, I don't blame the service techs that helped me - the service was efficient and I would bring my car here again.

Very unfriendly check in and not very helpful. Felt like I was bothering the guy. They were unable to rotate the tires in the shop due to height restrictions, but didn't offer an alternative solution. Price was high, didn't accept my coupon, and was told there's nothing they can do.

I would like to give them more time to do a more thorough check of my car’s breaks and other engine components. I was in a rush so they did the oil change and basic checks which I appreciated.
The place was empty with 4 people on staff I figured they would all work on my car at once but only 1 guy did. So it took a little longer than jiffy lube or oil changers. My suggestion is make the check in quicker , I already made an appointment so they should have had all my information. and also a little warm and fuzzy customer service goes a long way. Good overall.

This is now the 6th vehicle we've brought for service here. Always pleasant and professional experience. They care about the customer .
I was charged extra $ to diagnose the problem, they mis-diagnosed it charged me over $500. For the wrong part to be replaced, then quoted me over $900. To change another part which I declined, I asked Sam the owner/general manager for the original $500. To be reduced since he charged me for a part that I did not need he refused, I paid the requested $500.+ and left , I’m a local Auto dealer, I have spent thousands of dollars at this Midas on other car repairs, this is not the first time that the service was not to par , 1 instance , I had a catalytic converter replaced on a rav 4 and Sam’s team installed it backwards, I had to pay a muffler shop to fix it and that time Sam did refund part of the extra cost
Good experience every-time I bring my car there for service
With oil change I wanted tire rotation, the service tech repeated my request.When I picked up my truck and paid no tire rotation was done or written up.You should give a customer a work order sheet with work getting done and cost. I was not given any paper work . I was told “ work should be done in 1 1/2 hr and I will be contacted”. If I had some type of paper work at the time I left my truck I could have informed the service tech the tire rotation I wanted which he either forgot or did not understand my request.
