Never in my life have I ever paid $190 for an oil change. That is daylight robbery, even when using 5W40. That’s more expensive oil change I have EVER had, and it was totally unexpected and not communicated up front! Appalled!
They are trustworthy and they will show you the problem if you want to see. They tell you what the price is before working on the car. I have been going there for years because they are knowledgeable, respectful and guaranteed some services. Zach Hagert is straight up with his customers and fair. They did not air tire up sufficiently for message on instrument, goes away and did not know how to reset panel message ro remove oil maintenance message turns off. They said I'd have to drive car for awhile and both messages will disappear after some time. I told manager if you pur enough air in the tire the low pressure message disappears and associate added more air that message went off. Had to have Kmart turn off the message about maintebance

FIrst, I've had consistency in the service and inspection information over the past years 2) I went there initially and still do due to the coupons which give me a decent and not ridiculous price for an oil change 3) There is some consistency in the staff upon return so I have some trust built up and not a new person who I have no idea if their just selling me a service or giving me true service and not wasting dollars. 4) always been accommodating in getting an appt and in-and-out on time

1. Brakesplus was $500 cheaper for the exact same service. $500!!!!2. Brakesplus charged nothing to diagnose the problem; Midas charged be $80!!! Needless to say, I had Brakesplus do the work, which they did to complete satisfaction.

My vehicle service is done under a fleet account, so I don’t deal with pricing. I get an oil change every 2 months. I am usually able to get an appointment same day or next day and they get me in at my appointment time and complete the job quickly.
My daughter needed her vehicle as soon as possible for her postal delivery route. Midas was speedy and happy to get it done in a very short time!

The pricing was a bit higher than two other locations I preciously checked with to do my sway control arm (upper and lower!), All four brakes and rotors, alignment and oil change. My deciding factor is the after care of my vehicle and how well Midas resolves issues if any come up. To be a couple of hundred dollars HIGHER than other shops, ate a big chunk of my repair allotment, but I have my car back and pray it is street safe now for a long time to come... 😁

Your website advertises the synthetic oil change as oil change & filter change for 29.99 plus disposal fee. Coupon states promo code: OC3400USWEB. Upon arriving to the store I am informed that this isn't a true coupon and that the basic oil change is for 29.99 for 5qts of oil and that the filter will be extra plus any additional qts of oil needed. I think he as a courtesy offered me a $5 off coupon. But the website is very deceiving. 1. There should not be a coupon code if it's not a coupon. 2. It should be stated that the filter is extra. I ended up paying just over $40 which isn't terrible; however, there should be truth in advertising.

Quick and pleasant service.
I took my vehicle in to have a shock/strut situation resolved. The owner of the shop was very kind over the phone, and told me it would cost in the $1700 range, but that there were $300 in rebates available for my purchase. While this was a large sum of money, I felt that doing it with the rebates made it a bit more doable. There were additional costs (including charging me $90 for an oil change, which is usually in the $50-$60 range) bringing my total to $1900. I left the shop after paying and went to use the rebates, only to find that I may only be eligible for $150 of rebates. I called Midas customer service to get a resolution several days ago, leaving a message, but have not heard anything back. While I understand mistakes are made in understanding offers, if someone in the shop is promising I am eligible for a certain dollar amount in rebates, I should be able to trust that that person knows their product well enough to be telling me the truth. On top of this, I was told my vehicle would be done Monday night by 5:30 pm, so in between shifts at work I loaded my wife and two small children in the car to pick up the other vehicle. I was not finished until the next day.

New manager has a very sleezy way of talking to people. Criticized previous necessary service, did not arrange for an alignment recheck that was specifically requested, and charged for $300 in labor on a process that took 30 minutes. Previously friendly service became overconfident and downright rude.
My experience as a whole was very satisfying. The mechanic was super qualified ad did a great job of helping me. I was having car trouble and drove right in and they rescued me. Very kind and very supportive.

Your staff recommended for me to replace my air filter, to which I agreed based on their recommendation. Unfortunately, my air filter was taken out but not replaced and I drove multiple hours the next day and ended up having to be towed to a local ford service center in Des Moines. The coolant flush also didn't do anything to fix my engine light issue as it was two sensors that needed to be replaced.
Communicate with the customer better
I forgot the associates name, he came out right when i showed up though to get the info off my vehicle and answered all my questions and was very patient and nice about everything. Josh the manager felt really bad i waited an hour for my oil change even though i was not upset at all and it shows that both him and his associates care about their employees. Give them raises!
