During 6-10-24 routine oil change & tire rotation the tech discovered issue with water pump & advised replacement which I was unable to complete at the time due to my husband's medical appointments. I scheduled appt for next day 6-11-24 but water pump went out that morning while I was still at home > I had to have F-150 towed to Midas; I was able to pick up our truck the next day (6-12-24). The mechanic who looked at my car didn't find a problem at first inspection but he listened to what I told him had happened and continued to look. His persistence paid off because he did find something that had broken but was not visible unless he took something on the wheel apart. I brought my car in on Monday for an oil change, everything went very quickly and smoothly. Then I brought my husband's car in on Tuesday. They had not got the oil in for his car so I waited awhile but they were very transparent about needing to get the oil and filter and were quick once they had it. I waited this time also. I received the text to say they were working on the cars and then when they were done.

My daughter had purchased a newer vehicle from a dealership up near Chicago which was later determined to have an issue with the exhaust system. To have this issue fixed at the dealership would have required several 4 1/2 hour trips, each way. To avoid having to do all this driving, the dealership advised we could take her vehicle to a local facility to have the muffler issue fixed. As I had used Midas in the past, I chose to take her vehicle there for repairs. This turned out to be an excellent decision as service manager "Aaron H" assumed complete responsibility for locating the necessary parts to fix the issue with my daughter's vehicle. In addition he made certain not only was her vehicle fixed in a professional manner,he kept us apprised of when the parts were located and installed.I was very impressed with the professional manner this Midas shop handled our issue.

I scheduled an apt online, went in the store but couldn’t be seen. I was supposed to get a call for a headlight price which never happened. I reschedule, came in and my apt was on the wrong date and time. They were able to see me. I communicated to multiple people that I wanted my headlight fixed I did not matter if I need an assembly. Everyone says “sure” they could do it. I brought the car to them because I wanted a one stop shop where I could get everything done at once. Had they communicated to me about the headlight, I could’ve took my car somewhere else and get everything done including the headlight. We are in winter and it gets dark early so that was important. Nobody apologize about the situation. It was very frustrating. I will not be going to Midas again nor will recommend.

My daughter was driving back to school in St. Louis from Chicago. Her alternator died on her mini cooper. Aaron from Midas arranged a tow truck and a ride to Midas.
