I made appointment at Midas for July 20, 2022, and dropped off the car at 8am. I explained that the radiator fanwas not working because of a blown fuse. I explained that I'd been there June 11, 2022 for overheating issues, and I still had overheating issues.I explained I had replaced the fuse in the last month and the fuse had blown twice.I suggested that the radiator fan needed to be replaced.At around 1pm on July 20, I called Midas as I had not heard anything from them. They said that they replaced the fuse, letit idle for 2 hours and they couldn't find any problems as the fuse didn't blow.They charged me 3.99 for a new fuse and around $140 for labour.This upset me, as I didn't want to pay $140 for someone to replace the same fuse I had replaced and tell me everything was okay.The next day, July 21, 2022, the newly replaced fuse blew, and the radiator fan stopped working.I feel I've wasted $140 and the time it took to bring the car there and back, as the car is exactly in the same state as it was before.I'm also slightly upset that no one noticed on June 11, 2022 that the car was overheating due to the radiator fan not working.
