Service had to be done to the steering system. The guy didn't even care to tell me what the price was going to be. I went to pick up my car and surprise! $500 extra that I had to spend on something I don't know much about. Insane

I asked the Manager to “DISCONNECT” the trunk light! He did not write it on the work order and it was “NOT” done! The sticker for next oil change was “NOT” placed on the windshield to remind me when to next change the oil.

I requested a tire rotation as it has been over 18 months and over 10,000 km since my last tire rotation. I was told rotation was not needed. I told the service person I was going on a long trip (2 1/2 months and over 5,000 km) thus the reason for the rotation

The ease of booking an appointment and the followup to confirm the appointment was done in a timely manner. The staff at the Midas I visited were friendly, professional and got to the point and got the job done!

My car was towed to Midas with an undiagnosed issue. They listened to my dads scan report, followed up, sourced the part, fixed it and all within a reasonable budget price. It was repaired fast, and my car is perfect now. Everyone was also very kind.

Midas found a safety issue with the front brakes during the inspection and sent a picture of the problem.They replaced the front brakes,oil change and changed to winter tires in a reasonable time. Very satisfied.

Always love coming here for my car needs. I love the service I receive when I come here. This one particular day I noticed it was fairly backed up, so I waited over an hour. Overall though wasn't to upset about that because I understand the worker said two of his service techs called in sick so they were very busy and things like this happen. Over all I'm always satisfied with the deal I get for tire change/oil change together. Also love that they check to make sure everything else is working fine on my car.

I attended to have the exhaust repaired on my truck. The technician immediately went to my truck and I didn’t see where he went. When questioned the front desk guy said he took it fkr a test drive. I did not authorize this and was really upset by this. Absolutely no reason to test drive my vehicle. Feont desk guy blew it off as thats what they do. During my stay he was bad mouthing other customers. I knew that every trip he took to go to the shop to check on my vehicle he would be slandering me. Telling me whoever did previous work “butchered” it. He was told it was by another Midas shop! When the work was completed my vehicle was started and revved to the point that it caught the attention of others in the waiting area. No need for this. So overall it was an unpleasant experience.

Matt was great. I had to drop my car off and pick up a little after 5 pm and he waited for me to make sure I was picked up etc. He is very friendly and explained everything that needed to be done. The only unfortunate part is that they were unable to get some parts so will have to make another visit. Not the fault of anyone just the way the supply chain is these days. Overall I am satisfied with this visit.I will say that for some reason the last time I was at this location in 2019 (about 40k ago) for the front brakes I got budget brake pads on the front and lifetime on the rear. Not sure why that would be done but I guess that's why I needed new fronts and the back are still in great shape.

I had muffler work done six years ago by Midas and the tailpipe had fallen off the rest of the muffler. Midas covered the muffler under warranty and all i had to do was cover the labour. Fantastic service and after sales service.

I use Midas for two seasonal visits - one in the spring for a "summerization" and one in the fall for "winterization". Thankfully so far I have not had to replace or renew any items in over five years of service from Midas.

Length of time to complete work and need to return for parts later in the day. Was supposed to be called when parts arrived but I called because long wait.

1st time ever buying snow tires, website was easy to find tires to fit car, and get a detailed quote that showed installation cost, no guessing as to total cost after tax.

Staff were helpful and polite and work was completed very quickly. The Manager advised that my car's cabin and engine filters were due to be replaced, he advised of the price and that they could be delivered in a few minutes. I told him to go ahead and the work was completed very quickly.

I was happy they were able to fit me in short notice and kept me up to date on repairs.

I had my catalytic converter stolen, and Midas gave me two options clearly explained re my Toyota Tacoma. They were reasonable; I picked one and the job proceeded well.

The only hiccup was the initial communication; I called to schedule an appointment, scheduled it for the next day, then I was told I would receive a quote within half an hour. By the end of the day I didn't hear back so I called again, the associate promised to send the quote in a bit but still didn't. When I came for my appointment next morning regardless, it turned out that my appointment wasn't scheduled. However, the associate managed to do it on the spot and I didn't experience any problem dropping off my vehicle. I think the first agent might've had a hectic day and simply forgot.

I was not contacted about my car with recommendations. The report was emailed to my Son who contacted me saying that Midas was recommending a certain filter. He told me not to get it, too expensive, he could change the filter for me I called and asked Midas why my Son was contacted and not me. My cell number is on file. The car is mine They could not give me an answer. I said I did not want the filter they suggested and they should have contacted me, not my Son. When I picked up the car, turned it on, the "time for inspection " message was still showing. The employee Sat in my car for about 15 minutes and I then left, with the message still showing. I was not happy , first with contacting my Son rather than me and I paid $84.00 for an oil change and then was told they could not reset the message. Every time I turn my car on I see it is time for an inspection, when I just paid for one.

The gentlemen working the desk was very friendly and accommodated me even though your online booking site did not have my appointment booked. I showed him the email I received and even though his system had no record of my service appointment.

You have only one master working on the service. And he can't do all the work. For two days I tried to change only the oil. The first day I waited over 30 minutes. And then they told me that I have to wait another 15 minutes and only then they will take my car for an oil change and it will take another 45 minutes. Although I had an appointment for a specific time and I arrived on time. I couldn't wait that long and rescheduled my apoint for the next day and said I only had one hour to change the oil. When I came the next day, they again told me that they did not have time and I had to wait. I said I couldn't wait and they told me they would change the oil right away today. And the master moved the previous client and changed the oil for me. I'm sorry the previous customer missed me and waited longer.
