I just prefer to have family members do service on my car. I went in for an oil change and was told there was at least 4 other things wrong with my car, one of which I mentioned in the request for my appointment that I wanted done with my oil change. They also wanted to charge me $125 for them to run my check engine light through their scanner, which I can get done for free at a service store. My car is having more issues after the appointment than before I even came in, so I think they must’ve messed with something in an attempt to get me to come back. As I was there, a woman came in, talking about how they did the same thing to her car and messed it up more than it was when she brought it in, so I know I’m not the only person who has had this issue. A simple oil change should not screw up a car more than it already was, especially when an additional thing I requested wasn’t even done, but I was told it needed to be fixed.

I got an oil change in November and was told my brakes were perfectly fine. 4 months later i had worn through my pads and had to get new rotors which added 300 onto my bill. I doubt I will come back.
Service was completed in a timely manner, the price was far better than going to a dealer. I have worked on cars since I was 18 years old, so I can usually tell if a mechanic is worth going to for service. And the mechanics at Midas know what they doing.

Explain all the services involved in my oil change. I was told they’d be servicing my Seth rotation that never happened, and I expressly pointed out that I wanted non-premium oil and I got the most expensive oil they could use.

I schedule a appointment online never got a call back to schedule. I thought I was getting a 29.99 oil change. The service person said that was not right about deal on line. The customer service was tremendous. I had no trouble purchasing and having my new tires installed. I had went to five other tire shops, some wouldn't take me without an appointment, and others were out of stock, or had to wait to order tires. The Midas Staff were kind enough to fit me in, and they had tires in stock at their location to fit my Explorer. They were very pleasant and gave me great counter and shop service. I will definitely keep going back.

Don't try to up-charge young females that come into your facility. I was given a high bill and asked for my bill before I paid, I was not given my bill. Instead the cashier crumbled up my original bill and presented me with a new bill. conveniently the bill changed to the correct price after I asked to see my bill.

I took my vehicle in because I have a clinking sound coming from the back drivers side and they insisted it was the front tire hardware and so I agreed and had them fix it. I asked if they test dove it and if they still heard that noise they said noise is gone. I picked up my vehicle pulled out of the parking lot hit my first bump and noise is still there. I feel they lied to me. This was the 2nd place I’ve taken my vehicle to try to get fixed and I’ve had to pay money for nothing. I feel if I was a man this wouldn’t have happened. I’m very frustrated.

I had recently serviced my wife's suv at Dodge dealership, who indicated I needed rear brakes replaced asap. At the time, I was only in for minor service, heading out of town and didn't have time to schedule. Checked with Midas online the following week, requested an estimate and scheduled appt...all very easy and efficient! Dropped off car and received call soon after that pads had 60% left, rotors were fine did not recommend changing out. Wow! Honesty was refreshing. Unfortunately, I didn't have any other service needed at this time...and felt bad for the time spent on the inspection. Don't worry...I'll be back to the Lees Summit location soon!
