The people were super nice and the service was very quick. The overall issue was the price. I ended up needing to replace the AC condenser. I was initially told the price was $1700 & then was called back and told it would be 2100 because the kit they received did not include the condenser. The overall bill showed the parts were over $1300, however I researched online and could’ve bought the parts at AutoZone for under $400. They already purchased them, though before I could have the option to do so. My research showed on multiple sites. The entire kit with condenser should’ve been between $250-$500 max. The labor cost was exactly as I expected & was reasonable. I was just extremely discouraged by the price of the parts since I could’ve saved at least a minimum of 800 had I purchased them myself. I wish I had been given that option before they purchased parts
The location is near from my home and easy to access. Parking space also is ample so I feel comfortable to parking and enter the office.

I was charged $440.99 for each of the Front Strut Assemblies (Part 1345560) and $395.99 for each of the Rear Strut Assemblies (Part 1345561) for a total of $1,673.96 for all 4 Strut Assemblies. Part 1345560 is $68.79 on RockAuto and $96.81 on Amazon. Part 1345561 is $71.99 on RockAuto and $86.92 on Amazon. So, the total cost of the 4 Strut Assemblies would have been $281.56 on RockAuto and $367.46 on Amazon for the exact same parts. I sent the Midas Store a text message indicating that Parts Cost seemed excessive on the Repair Estimate, but that was never addressed back to me. I will never take any vehicle back to Midas as I feel like over $1,200 was taken from me for these Parts. Customer Service was friendly and polite....work seems to have been done well...but this Parts Pricing borders on criminal.

Fix the issue that I bought the car in for not use scare tatics to get work done and when the problem is not fixed not charge for the sevice of repair the same charge for the same issue
They have payment plans cause I did get over 1,000 dollars worth of work done, she explained everything pretty well and they even provided drop off and pick up to and from my home!

I scheduled my appointment the day before through the online portal, which was very easy. The appointment was for the Texas State Vehicle Inspection and for a routine oil change. Both of these were completed quickly. During the oil change, they noticed that the serpentine belt was starting to go and the associate recommended that I get it and the tensioner replaced. Since they had everything in stock and I was already there, I went ahead and had that done. They were very fast despite how busy they were: ~1.5-2hours (I remember because I got to watch most of a movie). The waiting area was well air-conditioned and clean. It is nice that they had a movie playing.
A lot of the things they said I need I had just got fixed and also lied about the things I needed. I called my mechanic and he confirmed that what they stated was false and tried to use me for money because of it. They also tried forcing a payment plan to me.
The young lady was very informative and took the time to explain different options available to me.
Be honest instead of rambling on about what’s wrong with the vehicle and actually take care of what comes with the service that was purchased.
The service was performed quickly and efficiently. I did not have to wait for my car at the location, but could come back at my convenience to pick it up. All additional issues that were found were clearly communicated to me and a quote was presented at that time. The person that waited on me was friendly and thorough. I had a very good experience.

I was not highly satisfied. They could’ve added my windshield wiper fluid instead of being cheapskates and they also wanted to charge me super high prices for “dangerous” brake pads should I have chosen to replace them, but the breaks weren’t that bad. Also, the store associate said the deals on services are random—how is that fair to the customer? I think deal/discount availability should be made known ahead of time so people can prepare for when to buy things. Otherwise don’t run deals at all

I'd had my car at Toyota a couple days prior and decided to do the alignment with Midas to save a little money. Toyota had inspected he vehicle thoroughly and found several minor things, including the alignment. After having my vehicle for nearly 2 hours, Midas told me that all of the ball joints for my wheels were leaking grease. They sent pictures that showed a small amount of very dirty grease in some places and one spot with very fresh grease (zero road grime). They told me that it was a safety concern and wouldn't do the alignment because the leaks were so bad. This is a 2017 vehicle with all maintenance being done routinely. There's no way all four ball joints were leaking. I told them it had just been with Toyota and they didn't say anything about that, despite removing wheels to replace brake pads and turn rotors, and Midas just blamed Toyota for missing it. I find it very hard to believe that my 2017 vehicle is leaking grease from ALL ball joints and that was completely missed by Toyota two days earlier.

The main associate that helped me was exceptional. Very kind. Helpful and knowledgeable. She was the main reason I decided to go with all the work and high quote. I will be back to see her. I just wish the pricing was MORE in line with average pricing for brakes. It was much higher at Midas by several hundred I found out sadly. Otherwise flawless.

I went for a simple oil change with EVERYTHING working fine on my car. When they were done, MY BATTERY DIDNT WORK! the battery is less than one year old and I did not have ANY problems leading up to the day of my oil change. And the mechanics words were, " at least it stopped working in the perfect place, now you can buy a new one!" I'm convinced they drained my battery while I waited for an HOUR for an oil change with no other people before me. Unfortunately I won't come back here anymore.

Midas on Post Oak was fast, friendly and professional and immediately they notified me of the extra charge along with my Groupon.
They price matched. The S.Post Oak location in Houston seemed to be honest and worked well with explaining the importance of part repair. We received alignment, shocks and struts, and front arm something. But car drives smooth, no vibrations, no hard hit over bumps. Alignment is straight. We're happy.
