Customer service is great
Training of the new staff needs to be a priority;my checkpoints weren't done,no questions about my engine air filter nor my cabin filter;no information as to whether my oil level was low or not and the color of the oil;didn't check the lights or do a check of the brakes.
The employees were heard talking about customers after they left. They were exaggerating a story about a question a customer asked. I was shocked because the customer did not ask anything wrong or rudely. They waited until she left to talk about her. They were cursing and just talking about anything, & also complaining about stores, warehouses, etc not having or doing whatever. They had no regard for the customers sitting there. I will not ever return to this location.
In the past, this Midas has always offered the coupons that were available. They did not do so this time and I paid over $111 for an oil change. I will be going to Walmart from now on where the price for full synthetic is $58 plus tax & disposal. That's almost 30% less! We've been going here for a few years. I'm disappointed because this Midas has always been good to us, helping us with referrals for tire repairs that they could not do, for instance.
The service was very quick and easy. The communication was thorough and I wasn’t bombarded with them trying to up sell me things I did not need.

Guy was really nice. Didn’t have to wait too long before the cat was finished. I asked for wiper blades and he went out in parking lot to install them. Very helpful
The scheduling and inspection was smooth and then everything was explained to me in detail. I stayed with the car and so it I had to wait. It is a busy place and so it took a little longer, but I was satisfied with service.
This Midas is convenient for me being close to my work but even if it wasn’t I would still go. The employees are friendly, honest, and clearly communicate about my car. I feel like I’m in good hands.

Same day appointment and quick service
Clearer communication about vehicle problems and the TIME to fix these issues especially once the work has begun are necessary. Leaving a vehicle an entire day with the promise of work to be completed in “2-5 hours” created undue hardship and problems for people depending on this vehicle’s expensive repairs to be done in time promised. Nobody called to inform me the vehicle would not be ready the day it was left, nor the following day when I called again to see if my car was ready. Thankfully it was, but nobody contacted me when the work was done.
I am very satisfied with the service to my vehicle as well as the excellent customer service given by your associate Chase. Chase and the whole team were welcoming, genuine, supportive, showed empathy which is rare for car shops these days. If my wife and I were not moving I would have them be our sole auto shop. I will be bringing my vehicle in as well one more time before I move because of the service your team provided.

There was a vehicle just like mine when I pulled in! The same vehicle was pulled in before mineThen my vehicle was pulled in. The techs look at my vehicle then call me into the bay They tell me a few problems with my vehicle then one of the techs goes to describe how my parts should look under my car. He tells me that’s his van in the bay and pulls it up to show me how my part should look under my van. Which only made me wonder did he mess my van up so that I could come back for them to work on my van so he could get parts from my car . I was shocked because the associate told me that was his vehicle and then compared it with mine now all of a sudden my vehicle needs 600$ worth of work. When I’ve had no leaks in my driveway until I visited Midas I real think they messed with my car so the associate with the same vehicle could get parts
I am very satisfied with the level of service that I received from Midas-Durham location. The check-in process was easy, I received periodic updates about the status of my vehicle. The mechanic took the time to explain to me what recommended service I will need at my next appointment based on the mileage of my car.

We have been using this Midas center since moving here from Northern NY. The owner has always been honest and very helpful. Pricing is always competetive. The owner has directed us in situations they were not able to solve and has helped us to save money and hassels.
Scheduled online, but had to call to confirm- not a big deal. People were great to work with. I was missing lug nuts key, so they couldn’t rotate tires (my fault) they tried to help and we walked through whole vehicle before giving up. Coupons made price reasonable for an oil change and inspection.
I've been going to this Midas for over 5 years. I like the workers there , if this team were to break up I would probably find another shop. Too expensive compared to other shops and no offense but brake pads are just brake pads..not sure there is a quality difference

i obtained a diagnosis and solution within 10 minutes and was able to have the car fixed the next day (i could have stayed and had fixed within the hour but i wasn’t willing to do that).

I needed my car fixed ASAP and Midas was able to get me an appt as soon as i needed. I was hesitant with the 2 stars on yelp but glad i have them a chance. I needed a new alternator and they were very quick to give me a quick estimate and schedule me in. He showed me the paperwork showing my alternator failed their test, and then showed me the paperwork that it passed after it was changed out. He also made me aware that something was leaking. As a young female i am always hesitant to be taken advantage of $$ wise for my car. He showed me the part he took out of my car to prove it was leaking and damaged. All of these things gave me a piece of mind that my car would be working appropriately now. Very professional and quick responses.
I was treated as an individual with specific needs. Also, I was treated as a customer who has a history with having my vehicles serviced at this location. Everyone was professional, friendly, courteous. I had situation where I had to get my part. I was given the opportunity to retrieve my part. The cost was consistent with the estimate.

If you mess up admit it. I came with no lights on in my vehicle and now I have a light that I was quoted over $1,400 to turn off. I'm pretty sure one of your guys may have accidentally turned the sensor off or hit something to trigger the sensor. Decided itd be too much work to turn it off... And now I'm stuck. No sensors were on when I came in for routine service. The last place my oil was changed did not trigger this sensor. Why only at your team touched it is the sensor on? It has never been on and the car doesn't even have 90,000 miles yet... Needless to say, I won't be back.
Chase that works at the front desk (Durham/chapel hill) is very knowledgeable and very nice. I feel welcomed and they always inform me of what’s wrong with my vehicle before I have to actually pay.
Chase showed me the rear brake issues I was having and the work they will perform. It is great to have lifetime warranty on the pads. They did the work in a timely manner and was very happy with the brake work.

We have been using using this Midas shop to service both our cars for years. They always do what is needed well without doing anything that is not needed. We do not know much about cars and so appreciate that we can trust them not to try to take advantage of us. Brakes still squeak. Also wanted alignment done. When to pick up and was paying and was told alignment had not been done. Couldn't leave my vechicle,because my rude had left. Was not offered any alternative.

They are very honest. We brought in two cars for an oil change. One was at 80percent full and they told us that the car oil is still good. It is rare to find honest mechanics. Most places would've filled in the 20 and charged us full price.
My experience with midas was wonderful. I've been the same center for years because of the friendly and professional services that are provided.

Fast service at great price but tried to tell me I needed new shocks and that the car would fail inspection because of their condition. I took the car to the dealership 4 days later with the same shocks and the car passed with no problems.
