I took my car in for new brakes on Saturdayno problems at that time. On Thursday my passenger side wheel almost fell off my car. I call your location and was told I didn’t get my my car torqued. When I said I did know the person replied “it says so on the receipt”. I call AMA to fix my car but they said there was some damage so I needed to take it in. When I called your location they said they were busy and could not see me. When I was call other company’s to get my tired fix everyone told me I should “go back to Midas”. Once I got in with someone they said it’s standard practice to tag the car saying when to the the wheels torqued. I feel very upset with the lack to service- it feel as though you’re company does not care about its clients or their safety.

The representative was pushy &aggressive with his sales tactics. I felt like he was trying to frighten me and force me into getting things done to my car that I was not ready to do today. He used threatening & misleading language like: "I just saved your life" "your kids would be dead if it weren't for us." "We just saved your lives." he also made me feel like I had no choice but to get the service through him. He tried many times to stop me from contacting Kaltire (with whom I have a warranty) & said they were going to rip me off. He insisted he would not let me leave with my car & he refused to put the tires back on. I simply wanted a second opinion & to think about it & make sure I can afford it but he was so aggressive with his sales tactics I felt like I had no choice. I had to ultimately call my husband and get him involved because my car was being held hostage. I ended up having to leave my car with Midas despite wanting to take it somewhere else and even after everything they tried to upsell me again and did not complete the tasks they said they would for the price. He could not complete the wheel alignments on the back due to rusting.

The staff treated like a valued human being and weren’t racists against me because I’m an Indigenous women. Mostly everywhere I go people are rude, ignorant, and racist towards me. I don’t even have to say anything and Edmontonians treat me like garbage. I almost cried because your staff was extremely professional towards me. Midas staff has always been excellent towards me. The way they treat me makes me feel like I can live another day.

First 2 appointments cancelled by you guys as shop to busy. The guy I talked to after driving there on Monday said I’m sorry but I’ll give you something. Friendly service and great value

Me and my wife originally went in for an oil change and brake inspection but became alot more :) We asked if they could do all new tires and belts and rear brake pads a few hours before they closed. Let's just say it was all done 30 min before close.
