When I was on my way to work, I noticed once I got on to the main road that my brakes had become incredibly spongy and non responsive, it was not the best feeling, on my way down Blackatone ave I knew I had to limp my 4runner into a shop. In the distance I saw the Midas sign and remembered that my no nonsense grandfather only went to two shops, either Maaco for paint, or Midas for everything he couldn't do. So I figured it was Karma and pulled in at about 10 til 8. The manager was first to show up and open the shop followed by who I found out was the assistant manager and 2 techs. One gentleman was already ahead of me for an oil change, and we got right to business. As my car is a '94. When explaining to the guys what happened they expressed concern and let me know they'd go over my areas of concern and even drove me the rest of the way to work just 5 mins away. The repairs took about a day and a half as the power steering had a kink in the line. Long story short she drives like she's brand new again.

After i took the car home it smells like burnt oil and i did not have a oil leak prior to visit..dirty oil stained handprints everwhere in my car..people dont know how to wash their hands im guessing..and to top it off my antifreeze from my radiator is leaking and i never had a leak before..dirty mechanics never coming back thanks for nothing
Customer service was awesome but issue wasn't resolved in time frame. When they say they are going to follow up with you by email or call they don't. Now my next appointment is way in clovis to repair same item next week. Spent a lot of money and time on same issue and even though the initial problem is fixed now I have three lights coming on that never came on before. Guess I'll call Monday to see if my appointment was made since Noone called like they said they were.
The wait time is absolutely ridiculous, I have been going to midas for a long time and it gets worse and worse every time. Why do a person have to wait almost 4 hours if they have a scheduled appointment for an oil change?! Make that make sense. Do better! On top of that if customers going to have to wait a long time at least CLEAN THE RESTROOM SO NASTY

My issue is that they didn’t go over the list of things they checked on (during the free inspection offered with the oil change), which is half the reason I go to get my oil changed as opposed to doing it myself.

There was a customer who was trying to get tires warranted. Unfortunately he did not maintain maintenance of tire rotations. Service Manager was professional and explained why but customer was not agreeing. So that was irritating to hear.

This Midas location is my go to place. They are transparent and I dont feel intimidated going there because I know they will be upfront with their prices.
I made an appointment online and it was very easy. The Midas brand according to the web site appeared to be new and state of the art. This was not the case at all. The tv was on a sports channel. The magazines were not appropriate. As far as pricing, I was quoted 2 different prices. One using the online virtual service, one from the onsite service advisor. I ended up using a coupon for a different price I found online. A few things would of helped my experience, a fresh coat of paint and some new chairs in the waiting area, a bigger selection of magazines, better communication about what was or was not seen or do a quick over view of what was checked.
111 dollars for my oil change was absurd.
There won't be a next time the mechanic did something I don't know what now my ac does not even work properly it throws out warm air and that wasn't even a problem I drove it all morning ac was excellent nice and cold after I paid my 1,300 dollars for a radiator and some plugs I get in my car and the ac don't even come threw so I called the guy back now he's telling me it's a electrical problem it wasn't a problem till I came here I was beyond upset so he told me I had to tighten some wires or something I'm like no I'm not going to do that so he did and it turned on but no cold air and it was very low wouldn't go hire so one problem to another sounds like a rip off to me so no never would I recommend that midas location to know one
I came in on Saturday at noon.1st the men were very welcoming, they were very detailed with the work and also found some other issues that helped me a lot and saved me a lot of money. (jeep could of overheated). Also, another customer in the lobby was being helped and I was really happy how they were very detailed with her vehicle and assisted her with different options. This manager was very active with what was best for the customer and the car. These men need a raise and informed that they are doing a great job!

They were friendly and inspection was free but not sure I trusted them or if they truly inspected car. They stated I needed spark plugs but they were just changed a month ago and stated wear and needed a new tire for one that was new. It took 2 1/2 hours to replace a tire. It wasnt even that busy. We watched the mechanic eat a burrito while he just stared at the car.
