I have been going to this Midas location for many years, through a few different owners/managers, and have always had a positive experience. Easy online scheduling, friendly and knowledge staff, reasonable pricing, quality work.
Came in for a quote, was given a few options and ended up purchasing the tires that’s day. Associate also took the time to set up my next apt.
Cost of oil change is higher than most places

Curt (manager/owner) was very courteous and honest. Pricing was where it needed to be after I had a quote for work I had no intention of being performed. Upon a follow up call, Curt asked about my families well being since I mentioned I was pressed for time and had to take my family to the Urgent Care Clinic. My car was ready when promised, Curt walked me through the work, and a smile goes a long way.

I don't think my visit could have gone any better than it did. Unless I was told there was no charge. Everyone was friendly, the service was fast and I was in and out in about 30 minutes.
I had an 8:00 appointment. It took 20 minutes before I was checked in. I was told it would be an hour. I went to get coffee and came back in an hour and they hadn’t even started.
Came in for oil, change and tire rotation early for my noontime appointment.Three people working in the garage and one manager running the front office.Two younger workers in garage sat around and did not change oil for nearly 2 hours…One older worker in garage was working on brakes for another vehicleAfter two hours I was told tires would be rotated, but vehicle had to be moved…After an additional 20 minutes of truck sitting in the garage bay, but not going up on left I finally let them know I could no longer wait for the service we scheduled.Sales manager explained that the younger workers were not in the mood to do the work when I asked why they were sitting around and vehicle was not being attended to promptly.Wish I would’ve gone to a Jiffy Lube or a Valvoline. I would’ve been given much better and faster service.After vehicle was completed, no explanation of service was shown. I had to check my own oil and look underneath to ensure nothing was leaking.

I was charged for a tire rotation, but the associates did not actually rotate my tires. In addition, the oil change was priced far above what I've ever paid for an oil change in the past, including at this location. I believe the new management is cutting corners to make a little extra money, and I will not be using this Midas at all going forward.

I came in without an appointment the day before and didn’t have time to wait. They were so busy and still took the time to put air in my tire. I returned the next day for a repair because of the great customer service!

I paid to have my headlights adjusted. That evening, after it was dark, I saw the headlights were not properly aligned. The passenger side headlight is significantly higher than the driver side, with the middle somewhere in between. I don't know how Midas properly performs headlight adjustments, but my viewing of their process they did not follow standard layman's procedure. I do not trust Midas to fix the problem, so I will do it myself. $60+ misspent. Lesson Learned.

I had my rear brakes done by Midas this June, my car was serviced by the dealership & they told me my rear brakes were really low. On 9/30/22 I brought my car back to Midas at 10:00am. I was told they could get me in & I could wait. At 1pm I asked if my car was almost done & they informed me that my parts had just arrived & once the technicians returned from lunch they would complete my car. The receptionist had to go to lunch, she ask me to pay & then said she had to lock the waiting room door & that I had to wait somewhere else. She returned at 2:20pm & my car still wasn’t complete. About 15mins went by and my car was given to me. I was never told they had to order parts or that the tech’s took lunch at Noon.

It was a regular oil change. I’ve been in there so many times for that it just becomes something regular. I know they know what they are doing so I just drop it off. They call and I pick it up. Easy.
There should be better communication as to what is going on. I had an appointment and it took them two hours just to do my brake inspection. When they were finished they didn't bother to call me or update me. When I called them they said the service person was on lunch. When they called me back they told me the system was down and that they couldn't do any work and that I would have to come back. I was visiting the Sacramento area and was hoping to get my brakes done while I ran other errands. Coming back was not an option. Usually, the inspection is waved when you receive service. I was still charged for the inspection even though they couldn't provide the service. Unfortunately, it was a waste of time for me and it was the only weekend I had to get my brakes done before my road trip.
I've been coming to the Midas in west Sacramento for about a year and it was recommended to me. It has not disappointed me ever since. I go for oil changes and I usually wait for it in their office. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. It only takes about 30 minutes for my car to be ready. Great overall experience! Thank you !
Had my car all day for an AC compressor replacement at 1:30 when I called in status said they just got the part when we had agreed to a 1:30 pick up. Had to bring my car back the following day. Took longer than the 4 hours job almost 7 hours

Had found online promotion of oil change and tire rotation and i had downloaded the coupon. Showed the coupon at the time of payment yet charges were much higher than expected. Invoice was not easy to understand. Left store and few miles into drive TPMS sign showed up and had to go back to store to have them look at it. They filled the air again to address TPMS warning sign. Based on overall experience it was pretty apparent that customer service was lacking professional approach and needs significant improvement.
The two women working at the front desk on the Jefferson location looked like they just rolled out of bed. I came in at 8:30 and I asked if I could get my oil changed and it seemed like I was asking them a hard question? After a while, one finally said ok. My real issue was that one girl was DRUNK. Must’ve still been drunk from the night before and came to work like that… she was a MESS. Could barely keep her eyes open, She got up from the desk at one point and stumbled, slurring her words. And when I returned to pick up my car, the other lady was arguing with someone on the phone, she had called to see if a part was available for another customer that was waiting. So incredibly unprofessional, this location is ghetto and trashy. I’ll go out of my way next time to be serviced by the 16th st location.

I am so dissatisfied with the service I received this is my second car that I've been taking to Midas I've had it for 2 years and have taken it strictly here all my oil changes take an hour or under this oil change took 2 hours and 15 minutes when I made my appointment I inform the gentleman that I'd be waiting with my car as I had a lot of stuff to do that day before I went out of town when I drop my car off and inform the ladies that I will be waiting there they said no problem after I continually checked in every half hour an hour and a half into my wait time the girl at the front desk and for me that there was only one mechanic and that there had been a gentleman waiting before me had I known that I would have rescheduled in a time that was more convenient to the shop and to myself I was not given that opportunity to even be a form that you guys were short mechanics and only running with one when there was a major service being performed to another car there.
While installing tires, they broke off a air pressure sensor and tried to get me to pay for their error, after installation they couldn't get the sensor to reset and I had to go to another tire dealer to have reset. Also the tires started to shake while driving at freeway speeds and had to have them rebalance

I had over a 2 hour wait to get my rear breaks replaced. I watched 3 customers come and go. 2 of the 3 customers did not have appointments. The intake person didn?t wear a mask at all and was coughing.
They were rude and they rather hurry and get the car out the shop so they can close earlier instead of looking over it thoroughly to see if there is any problem

The service was fine, however, not one of the staff that I interacted with wore a Mask. I probably won't go back there for that reason. This virus is very serious and I found it hard to believe that every staff member there had a medical condition that exempted them from wearing a mask. Just my opinion.
