Terminate the lying scan artist managing the store at the front desk. His communication skills are extremely rude. He made the wrong diagnostic and attempted to cover it up as if I was stupid. He even slipped and called me stupid as he said "I am tired of dealing with stupid people today then walked out of the store and went home. The mechanic contacted him on the phone and he soon returned and remained rude and I began video taping his rude activity.

Noah was the service tech who helped me with my car. He did a through evaluation on my entire car and was able to provide me the knowledge I lacked when it came to what was going on with my car. I came in because something under my car broke apart and within an hour it was welded back together and I was on my way! The best experience I’ve had with a car repair place ever!!

Jay at the local Midas on Euclid Ave in Des Moines IA was amazing. He knew more than me about my girlfriends Prius and made sure things were done correctly. I have never met anyone at a shop that knows as much as Jay about cars and his passion for them and working on them. I will definitely be returning to this specific location just because of Jay and he team. Excellent customer service and we are extremely pleased with the tires and total price. Jay went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased before I left with the car and that shows a lot about his character and making sure customers are satisfied when they leave. New to the area I will be bringing the Prius and Lexus in for service on Euclid Ave for future repairs.

Called to make appointment rep scheduled it on the wrong week and told me to come back the next day at 9am. Rep did did not schedule apt. And had to fit me in taking much longer. Then kept calling people over at car and each person added on things that needed "fixed".
Coming from out of town, I experienced a disturbing noise, which turned out to be my transmission shield dragging on the highway. I saw the midas center just off the highway and stopped to see if they could help. The person at the reception desk was very helpful and they put the car up on the hoist right away. They did a temporary repair and then noticed that I had a nail in a tire. They were able to repair that as I waited. I really appreciated the attention they gave my problem. Since I live out of town, having regular service there will not be possible, but I will recommend it to people and be happy that I know a place I can stop in an emergency when in Des Moines.
I order my tires and scheduled my appointment but when I arrived the computers were down and the tires I had ordered were not in the system at all so there was no tires for me and no way to get them so it was a complete waste of my time.

Made an appointment to have oil changed and tires rotated. Upon leaving, heard noise in front end. Returned next day to have them look at the problem. Noise got worse over the next 2 days. Took to another shop to find out that NONE of the lug nuts were tightened more than finger tight. I will NOT be returning to Midas for any of my service work and will tell everyone I know about this experience with Midas. This could have been a life changing issue! Myself, and Midas, should be grateful that it was not!
Make sure before you quote a time to customers make sure you have the oil you need before you start the service. 2 hours into what i was told would be aa 1 hour service i asked what was taking so long they finally told me that they ran out of oil. Only had 2 qts to put into a 7 qt service then took anothee half hour or more to get the oil they needed. Had 2 very impatient kids with me so i was very displeased

Due to unforeseen circumstances, a part had to be sourced from elsewhere, hence the delay. But staff were communicative, kind, and comped the oil change because it took so much longer than usual. Problems like this one happened, but everybody leapt into action to get it resolved and they kept me in the loop and apologized for the inconvenience. They took excellent care of me and I have no complaints.
They fixed my truck quickly and correctly on short notice and didn’t try to sell me a bunch of crapp I didn’t need.

When a customer presents a coupon with two different options I feel the associate needs to ask which service the customer wants nit just pick the service they’ve gotten prior or the higher cost for the customer.

Well after they fixed what they said the problem I took it back . Now it's my subframe that's making the noise so I gotta come up with another 1000. I don't recommend going there

The staff was so friendly and did a great job. I was in a few weeks before getting a new belt put on and it was squeaking and power steering was out. They fixed the belt and had no problems since. The next day I went in for a oil change and I noticed I had sludge in the oil. They did a oil change and did a treatment with it and got it back to normal.
