Be honest with the customer about time frame of car. Was told car would be ready at 2pm, then called at 3:30 pm for status, was told it be ready in an hour around 4:30. Did not leave the shop till 5:30. Was 50 minute late picking up my daughter from work. The 3 plus hours made a huge difference in picking up my daughter. If I was told from the beginning that the car would be ready until 5:30 instead of 2:30, I could of made arrangements for someone else to get my daughter

Called after checking that price for AC diagnostic is $399 .. when countered , mgr started shouting , using foul language and not to come to this location. When went to receive car , told that they will discount for diagnostic , charge $199. If not paid will do police complain. Utter lies, shouting , disrespectful mgr behavior. I bought coupon on Groupon for wheel alignment for $89.99 and called a day before at Woodbridge location for an appointment. I drove 30 miles to the location and then POS tells me that system’s aren’t updated for wheel alignment for my 22 Camry SE. he couldn’t mentioned me over the phone when I made an appointment gave into about my car. And the he told me to go to other location which was 20 miles more. When I got to the other location and POS didn’t greet me :( ( that’s not very nice ) I waited there for 3 hrs to get the job done and he charged me tax for the full price of wheel alignment $129.99 not $89.99 that I initially paid. And mechanic who did the wheel alignment job is good. When I drive car and the car doesnot stay straight and keep going to right direction.

The main reason for my visit was to check and fix a sound that I'm hearing from my car front suspension system, Midas team has told me (after inspection) that I need to change the front control arm and that would fix the problem. I moved forward with their suggestion and came on a later day that the parts will be available and after having the car for 4 hours and paying around $1,800 the car still have the same issue (less sound, but still I hear sound). After paying that much and paying that much it seems like no of the team have taken the time to review or test drive the car (which they did during inspection. that is totally not acceptable for me and left me with a very bad experience that I'd prefer not to go back and doing business with this place or even recommend it to a friend.
The customer is always right does not apply to midas.they caused a problem during oil change . I went back because I had to pay $40.00 to get it fixed. Midas would not refund the money since they said my mechanic and myself were wrong.i even had a receipt from the mechanic but they said he was wrong. I asked them to call him and he refused. The store manager Russell is very knowledgeable and explains what the mechanic found. He suggest recommended service and explains priority of things. I believe he treats the vehicle as if it were his own. Most of all he communicates well so there are little surprises after the job is done. Bottom line, he is very trustworthy.
All said and done it was expensive and there wasn't a whole lot of options, for my car there was only 1 and it's a basic size 225 60 16. There was a discount that made it slightly better. I also paid for an alignment and was surprised that some of the areas of my suspension geometry that were out of specification, remained out of specification when I received the car. There were other significant changes correct however so I paid the bill and remain somewhat satisfied.

The oil filter for my car was not available so they out sourced It, then got the wrong piece and had to get another filter. This should have been prepared since they knew the make and model of my car prior. I spent 2.5 hours there for an oil change. Also I had a Groupon and still had to pay $15 at the shop. This fee was not waved even after being highly inconvenienced if my time waiting for the staff to get the correct pieces

Jay attempted to install same aftermarket calipers but rubbed them in grease hoping they won’t rust as fast. I confronted him and he kept lying to me that he is installing ome parts. Then Rus intervened and said that he will order ome, which he charged an extra of $450 for the difference. Wasted 3 trips. Paid over $200 marckup for ome parts

I've been to Midas twice in the past year for oil changes and other things. Both times I've had to return because the work wasn't done properly. The first time the oil plug was loose and oil was leaking on my driveway. This time dirt got into my cabin blower when they took out the filter to show me how dirty it was. It ended up causing a loud noise. It is very annoying to have to come back to have these issues remedied that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Both times the issues were handled promptly, but I don't recall an apology for the inconvenience or anything offered to make up for the issues or having to scrub oil off my driveway. I want an easier experience where the work is done correctly the first time and I don't have to return to have it fixed. I'm not going to give Midas a third shot.

Unfortunately five trucks had the catalytic converter stolen. These trucks are used on a daily basis to provide services to the public and without the part on the pipe the trucks are ridiculously loud. I called the closest location and got the Englishtown NJ location. The team was very understanding with the situation. They were able to get our truck in that morning and we even got the truck back the same day. That was huge, we were able to drop off the second truck the same day. The service was completed in less than half the estimated time. The manager was friendly and the job and options were clearly explained by the staff prior to the work. They also helped share their experience on my MVC certification 'failure' status.
An associate should discuss price and what is being performed in the car prior to doing the job which was not done in this case. This resulted in a completely different price than what was quoted on the phone.
I asked for a wheel alignment and they refused to do the alignment saying that I need a new rack and pinion. I know my way around a car I did the lower tie rods and control arms. That was why I went for an alignment. The rack and pinion was fine. These guys are trying to scam people for more work. American tire in Oldbridge did my alignment and said my rack and pinion looked fine.

I called to schedule my appointment it was very convenient and they got me in quickly. I asked the person how much an oil change would be and they told me based on the make and model of my car I needed full synthetic oil change. I called my car company because it was a lease and told me my vehicle only required synthetic blend not full synthetic. It’s one thing to recommend it but don’t lie and say my car needs it. This is a reason I might not be returning as a customer.

Overall I was very satisfied. The major thing was just the time aspect. If I had known it would take 2 hours I would not have waited at the store. When I got there and asked for an estimate on how long the oil change would take I was only told that they were bringing the car in right now but i was not given an actual time frame. Then of course as they were working on it they recommended a few other things to replace/fix which would add time but again didn't say how much longer it would be.

I was highly satisfied because the service I requested was performed exactly the way that I knew it needed to be done. I requested a coolant FLUSH, as a result not receiving any warm air from my car heater. Unlike a coolant exchange, this service blows out all debris and clogging elements that block the heater core from delivering heat.Other places offer just a coolant exchange; and to me these only is a half measure. It’s like getting an oil change without changing the oil filter.

I went in for four new tires and now I am having electrical problems I saw the guy under the hood and asked why he was under the hood and he quickly raised the car and then removed something from the wheel the manager was quick to lie and said he was giving me a free oil change but nothing was drained and no oil went in two days later the car was shaking so bad I had to have it towed to the dealership and now the windows are going down when I open or close the doors. It should have taken 45 minutes for the job and I was charged for over two hours. When I walked in a woman was arguing with them about her car and I was on the phone. I should have got off the phone and listened to her complaints this would have deterred me from giving y’all my business now I am regretting that I did. You should take trust out of your sales pitch because your crooks.
Manager AJ very unprofessional and rude. Customer services needed to be worked. Have better solution to resolve issues and be polite to customers. Don’t over talk customers. Try not to up sale a customer without fix their main objective coming in the establishment. All and all it was a very bad nightmare experience. Very dissatisfied. Managers (AJ & Jay) nor the owner Bobby would resolve the issue. Not a good first experiences and I became a Midas cardholder during this visit and left with damages and unresolved issues.
