Just a simple detail as to winter tire swap to summer tires. Mentioned that I was missing a lug nut, 19 out of 20 . I purchased new wi ter tires and alloy 18x8 rims. Your company did the the swap, where did that nut go. I had no involvement whatsoever other than coming back to get the swap done. The lug nut was replaced at no cost to me, made it like I was the one who lost it. If you can't get a simple job done there how much would you trust a technical person there.
I’m never “Highly Satisfied “ with anything anymore.
My car was evaluated by very professional staff and they effectively communicated to me the problem and how they proposed to fix my car. I was given a cost for this as well the timeline they would need to have everything done. They offered me a courtesy car which was excellent and allowed me to attend a meeting at my Bank that was of upmost importance to me. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service I received which reaffirmed my decision to continue with future servicing of my car at Midas..

I booked an appointment for 11. At 11:50 when my vehicle hadn’t moved I checked in with the service desk. He went to check, but never returned with an update. I got the recommendations. I agreed to replace filters. From that time it was an additional hour for my vehicle to be done. Not even an apology for it taking so long. Oil changes don’t take 2.5 hours. The reason I booked an appointment was because I had one hour before I had to return to work. Then when I got into my vehicle my steering wheel was covered in grease. Not happy at all.
They fully explain everything, for a women who doesn’t know much about cars it’s nice to have. They are realistic about what needs to be done if anything on your car and what route they advise.

Experienced car battery died twice. Called in morning stating my problem with the car battery. Was advised to drop it off and they would have someone bring me to my apt while they installed the battery since they had appts until 10am. This I did and was very satisfied with the short wait it took to replace the battery.
The staff were extremely, extremely friendly. The provided a reasonable list of 'defects' found during the inspection. There were no 'pressure' tactics for me nor for others I witnessed in the waiting room. The presented favourable solutions to repairs needed. This location is AMAZING!!! Please only charge for what was agreed upon. A bill that is double the price agreed on when picking up the vehicle after hours is not only unprofessional but leaves a substantial feeling of being taken advantage of. This must be resolved.

Our appointment was schedules for 1.00 pm and at the time of arrival we were told it would be a wait of 1 and 1/2 hour wait as they were having difficulties, as we lived 1 hour away this was not good. They did though work very hard to get us out in time for our next appointment.so all was good finally

I booked a long time in advance at this location because I needed to use a car I don't get very much time off work and I absolutely have to do errands. I could have got this work done less expensively at another place but I chose Midas because of the loner car. There was no communication as promised about getting a ride back with your driver extremely frustrating finally booked a uber and when I went out to get in the Uber your guy was sitting there. Also I had asked about nuts for my brand new fancy rims nobody called me about them and they ended up putting the old nuts back on they look stupid they don't fit properly also the wheels I'd originally booked weren't available so I ended up with some more expensive set also my quotes for the muffler repair I was supposed to get done going to be honored so I ended up not even getting to work done it seemed like they didn't want to do it anyway it was a really weird visit however the guys at work there were doing the best they could they're just too busy

I like the level of transparency and that the service staff are always friendly and understanding. Have gained my trust on several occassions, hence I have been recommending them for the past 3 years.
My problem was with the shuttle. I work and I was told if I was there by 8:00am the shutlle started at 8:10 and could get me to work. I arrived at 7:55 to be told there wer e 6 people infront of me and that I should take an "uber". Not acceptable. So I took my vehicle and asked them to call me when I shuttle would be available. I got a call saying come right over and when I arrived the shuttle was gone again. I did get the shuttle back to work (but was late) and was told that I'd have to find own way back to midas as there would be no shuttle to come back and get me at 4:00pm. I live outside of Kingston and this meant that my husband had to come 30 mins to get me and take me to pick up my car. I was not happy with this. The rest of the experience was fine but that really put a damper on the whole process.

This was a rescheduled appointment due to weather conditions. I arrived on time and was warmly greeted. Brad met me promptly and my vehicle was taken in for it's oil change within 10 minutes. I have visited this Midas many times and have interacted with many different staff members - they are always friendly and a pleasure to communicate with. Generally speaking, Midas is a brand I can trust. Where other service centres will tell you, you "need" to get this done ASAP whereas Midas usually tells you what needs done straight away and what can wait a little longer - this is courteous.

Your staff tried to fraudulently upsell me brake service while I was getting new snow tires and rims. Aggressive upsell telling me “brakes were dry”. When just 6 days previous my veh had a full service and inspection at a well respected and trusted Ford dealer. Also, just 4000 km previous to Midas visit my veh had a full brake job, new rotors, pads etc under a previously paid for plan. I know Ford did the work and then billed Ford Canada accordingly. Midas told me my brakes were dry and that “immediate action was required”. I spoke with 2 managers who apologized numerous times. I took my tires away so my veh will never go back on a Midas lift again. This practise is fraudulent and deceptive. I was texted the “veh report” but did not know and was then contacted by phone as the Midas person wanted an answer to lubricate my brakes for just an additional $80. I took my summer tires home, never again will I visit Midas. In conversations with Manager and then GM they basically tried to support the upselling of their products/services…..apparently even if not needed or required
Had 2 cars brought in to put our winter tires on which are on rims. First appointment at 10am next appointment at 1230pm. Was told it never takes 2.5 hours we just schedule them far apart so we guarantee it's ready. Came back at 1245pm and was told the car just went in. At 1pm finally ready. Next car I questioned why they came back so dirty I always wash the car just before dropping it off so my tires and rims go away clean and get them back very dirty. Was told they get that dirty coming across the parking lot. Are they dragging them across the parking lot? Last car wasnt ready till 3:45. The tires are on rims should not take this long.

First car: brought in Sept 2, still waiting for completion (part needed to be ordered). Part is in now, but still not done. They let us use a loaner car for a time, but then wanted it back, so we had to pay for a rental at our own expense. Second car: brought in on a Saturday to get snow tires on (seasonally stored there) after an hour and a half waiting, admitted they cant find the tires and to come back Monday. Monday, again after 1 hour 45 minute wait, advised us a "part broke off" while changing tires and they let us use the loaner car at that point. They did not charge us for the work or the part they broke.Currently, still using the loaner car while they get around to fixing the first car, which has been there since Sept 2
It was communicated to me that my front brakes were "dry" and there was a rust ridge on the rotors.Rust ridge....totally understandable. That happens where the pad doesn't touch the rotor. Not a major issue or immediate concern. Dry? Umm....yeah.....they're supposed to be dry. If they were wet, I'd be concerned. Also was recommended that my back brakes be taken apart for inspection (drum brakes). But I didn't complain about brakes issues.Trying to up-sell unnecessary services puts a bad taste in your mouth.

The service manager Teena was excellent and communicated changes to work with photos. I understand and have a lot of experience of car mechanics, so I could see that the things that Teena described needed to be done (even though the bill grew to over $2,700. I have used another maintenance shop in Kingston for many years but made the change mainly due to being able to get the work done without making an appointment sometimes weeks out.
The only thing keeping me from being highly satisfied was I was informed that pictures and text messages would be sent so I could see what the technician saw and what was being done. That did not happen.
Knowledgeable mechanics, friendly, and despite the clerical error (that was written off), they prioritize customer satisfaction. Enough to buy my loyalty.

I made an appointment and specifically asked to have brakes and rotors installed.I was informed when I arrived on time that they were behind. But Savanna said she could get me in. Good. But then I waited and waited only to be told after an inspection the brake pads were low. Fine but we new that from my last visit for rear brakes and rotors.OK then they ordered the parts. So I waited more and watched as the mechanic went on others cars and worked with other mechanics. Instead of preparing my care for when the parts arrived to be put on right away. He did not start to remove the old until the new ones arrived so time lost.I think this could have been and Inwould have had to spend almost 3 hours waiting.I did share this with Sherry and Savanna. Because friends of mine who had been to Midas had the same issues and said they would not be back. It was and is out of concern for Midas reputation in Brockville.
At this point I have not had any service done. I purchased a new set of winter tires which were delivered the next day and I dropped off my existing snow tires, which are on rims, so the new tires can be mounted. I will let you know my satisfaction once the new tires are mounted on my 2016 Maxima.

It took longer than anticipated to get the required parts. The transmission pan was received, but the issue still persisted. The wheel bearing and hub were not available, but when I called a local dealership, they had it in stock, and could do the work on warranty. This wasn’t presented to me.
When an estimate is provided that states "good for 30 days" the employees shouldn't be talking about all the conditions (i.e. if we didn't order the tires the customer wants for the next delivery then the price will go up, despite the estimate) that will increase the price. Recommend updating you estimates appropriately or execute business honestly.

smart car not really familiar with this car could not check battery output, to hard to reach battery we can do this ourselves in about 5 minutes, not completely thinking that they are qualified to service this car.
I waited in the air conditioned environment across the street at McDonald’s had breakfast. Also went across to talize the consignment store.
They did what was asked in the time that they said it would take. I did have to wait past the scheduled time of my appointment as they had experienced a problem with a previous oil change.

I almost never get the feeling they’re recommendations are to simply ‘make money’. Understanding they’re in business to make money - the difference is, at Midas, they don’t ‘pressure’ you to get all the repairs done on the spot, they give you options. Please keep encouraging your franchisees to continue with this business practice.
Came in to purchase 2 new tires with instalation. Pricing was what I expected. Service was extremely fast. Was advised break pads were low which I was aware of and was quoted an exceptional price to replace. Will definitely be coming in for additional service when needed.

40 minute est for oil change - 1130 appt - was 1 hr 40 min . Problem apparently with car ahead of us but i was not aware until we had been there for over and hour and was late for another appt at 1pm . was told at payment that antifreeze was low and should be topped up for $5 but being late already did not have time to wait. instead i had to purchase antifreeze for $20 and top up myself. good folks -i have been there before and no problem- but could have been on top of this and figured out how to get me out at least close to promised time

When booking an appointment please tell customers how long service should take. I was told only when I checked my car in. The I was told it would take 2 or 3 hrs it took 4 hrs... yes I did get driven back to my home but we have only one car now and I would have scheduled another time had I known about wait time. Went for my oil change at which time the tech told me my winter tires needed replacing.Upon telling him my husband was a retired tech his mood changed.After I got the car back while driving home the engine light came on.My husband checked it and found the was oil spilled all over the valve cover and onto the number coil.My husband cleaned off the oil and clear the engine light and it hasn't come back on.My husband rotated back to all season tires and noticed that the cover that is removed to do the oil change had oil all over it. The tech that changed the oil didn't even clean it off.Good deal for a oil change but sloppy work.I won't be back.
I felt completely harassed into spending over $2000 in car repairs on a oil leak that was supposedly diagnosed and presented to me . On the estimate I was given around $1000 of issues in there so called expertise to have done ie buff headlights ! I was then pressed to leave car behind as it was not safe to drive ? I have more but will be leaving my complaint to a higher media .

Highest option oil change included new wiper blades. When reviewing my bill, guy neglected to say blade change. I asked he said “oh yes”. Next day during snowstorm, discovered same ratty blades. I returned to Midas and they did install new ones but without acknowledging my inconvenience or without apology. Compared with initial visit, seemed a bit cold. Location was not busy on day of return visit.
