First time I need a few things done. Oil change, Muffler cemented and the clamps replaced. Everything was completed and I was very happy.Second time I was coming back from an appointment in Toronto and the temperature gauge came on. I right away called Midas and asked if they checked the fluids in the car when they did the oil change. They said they did. I asked if they had time to see my car and they said yes. I arrived and by this time the temperature gauge was flashing faster. They took it in and found a leak in the rad and no coolant left. They gave me a rental and I was surprised about and very gladly took it home so that I could go to work the next day. They found a cheaper rad and I was very happy that it brought the price down. I'm planning on trading it in for another vehicle.They did great work and I really liked it that they took the time to explain what was wrong. Also, they treated me with respect. I do know my way around vehicles and what needs to be done. I'm a happy customer!!

I was highly satisfied with my midas experience because i have been ripped off 10 times since i moved to Ontario in 2011....costing me thousands of dollars. I came in thinking I had an expensive problem to fix, which is what the mechanic on duty confirmed, but I’m talking about options that took into account the age of the car, the redundancy already of the feature that needed replacing, the manager suggested a cheaper solution but one that would likely last the rest of the life of the vehicle, giving me more piece of mind than I had with the initial “obvious” solution.

They were honest, communicated clearly and timely.

I was grateful Midas was able to take my car in for emergency servicing without an appointment. My car experienced a major breakdown on Sunday while I was in town on an overnight visit, and it took 2 days to complete repairs (ready late Tuesday evening)...when originally had been advised end of day Monday. Parts were delayed from supplier, they discovered additional issues, unforeseen problems (bolt seizure/stripped) arose but the team was able to makeshift a repair. I was frustrated with the additional day of work, as I was on a time-crunch myself and from out of town, but did appreciate their dedication to get me going and respecting the quote I had approved.

I thought by making an appointment that the work would commence shortly or soon after my arrival. Not so. It was an hour before they looked at my car.

I have never had an issue getting an appoitment. I can usually get in same day i call. Love the staff very friendly and easy to joke around. Also keep you posted on an issues they may come across.

Staff and mechanics are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable however I have had to bring my vehicle in 3 separate times for a recurring issue that started after my first service ever at midas. I know the staff are trying their best to resolve it but I’ve had to sit in the waiting room a lot because I did not have someone available to drop me off.

I went to Midas in Orangeville because I had a tire blowout that needed immediate repair. I live 45 min away from Orangeville so servicing at the Midas location in Orangeville is not a practical option for me.

I came in with customer supplies resonator delete pipe that is direct fit and only has 4 bolts. I figured I would have someone do it rather than buy a deep socket set. It took 40 mins to tell me they wanted to charge 145$ for 4 bolts. The tech broke an OEM bolt and replaced it with one to small for the hole, which although it works isn’t ideal on a 85k$ truck. I was a walk in and said can you change 4 bolts and a part … they said yes… if I knew the first 40 mins was just to make a quote I would have just gone elsewhere. It wasn’t so much the price but that 80% of the time was taken just to figure out what to charge me…

Midas had installed two headlight bulbs about 3 weeks ago but one of them fused . This was not caused by me. Midas was gracious enough to acknowledge this fact, and although the Bulb manufacturer claimed no responsibility Midas covered the cost and did not charge me.
