The visit commenced early and was done fairly quickly. The waiting room was quiet and had distractions to pass the time. It was a over in about the time I figured and the price was good.
We did not have a scheduled appointment. Our truck broke down and we had it towed there for service expecting at least a few days for it to be fixed. But upon arrival Braden and staff looked at it right away. Exceptional service - as always. We had our truck first thing the next morning - as per our request due to work commitments. And it was ready exactly when I was told to pick it up. The technician even doubled checked to make sure all caps were sealed before I pulled away. We only take our vehicles to this location mainly because of the customer service! These guys deserve the biggest Thank You!!
It was my first time bringing my car at Midas.The manager was very helpful and treated me as if i were his longtime friend. I got my exhaust done and the work that they’ve done was incredible. The associate at the counter told me he would call me when it was ready. So I waited till 2:30pm. My appointment was at 9am and he told me it would be ready in a couple of hours. I got picked up to relax and have a coffee at work till it was finished and I got nervous after 1pm because I didnt get the ph call. By 2:30pm I called about it and they said it was ready. When I got there they said they txt me but because of my spam control and security settings on my phone, i didnt get the txt and missed out some other things the technician found that zi would've liked to be serviced. I just wished someone would've called me. My car was ready at 11:30am i'd like to have to picked up car sooner that day, i had a busy day and needed my ride.

Came in for a 79.99 promo, lady kept telling me about an 89.99 promo, didn’t want that. They talk about a tire rotation, then say my tires are looking good, no rotation necessary, I’m paying for the service, do it. At the end they charge me $94 saying it took a little more oil. I didn’t want this 89.98 promo. I was frustrated, I paid and left.

I forgot the name but the 2nd person that we talked to about our tire replacement was annoying and can't even assist well. He was kinda ush because he told that it was his wife birthday. Given that. It was not right to act the he was irritating. In the first plce the person that we talked first told us that we can bring the documents for the next day and agreed that we will return in 5pm that day because we have work. The first person is accomodating even gave us chocolates but unfortunately he was on leave the 2nd day. But the 2nd person treat us like we are not customer and his face was like he want to go for their celebration. We understand that but next time treat customer with respect. Overall we are satisfied.

I took my car in for new brakes on Saturdayno problems at that time. On Thursday my passenger side wheel almost fell off my car. I call your location and was told I didn’t get my my car torqued. When I said I did know the person replied “it says so on the receipt”. I call AMA to fix my car but they said there was some damage so I needed to take it in. When I called your location they said they were busy and could not see me. When I was call other company’s to get my tired fix everyone told me I should “go back to Midas”. Once I got in with someone they said it’s standard practice to tag the car saying when to the the wheels torqued. I feel very upset with the lack to service- it feel as though you’re company does not care about its clients or their safety.

Upon my arrival I showed a text I received from Midas for a FREE SUMMER CHANGE OVER BUT AT THE END THE MANAGE TRIED CHARGING ME $40.00 FOR THE SERVICE.My appointment was for 4:30, the store manager wanted my car for two hours until it is ready, I explained I could not do that due to a prior plans. The manager insisted he "could not do an oil change without the full vehicle inspection asper store policy" B.S. You should only perform what I grant permission to do. There is other shops in Edmonton I could trust my vehicle with other than Midas

The representative was pushy &aggressive with his sales tactics. I felt like he was trying to frighten me and force me into getting things done to my car that I was not ready to do today. He used threatening & misleading language like: "I just saved your life" "your kids would be dead if it weren't for us." "We just saved your lives." he also made me feel like I had no choice but to get the service through him. He tried many times to stop me from contacting Kaltire (with whom I have a warranty) & said they were going to rip me off. He insisted he would not let me leave with my car & he refused to put the tires back on. I simply wanted a second opinion & to think about it & make sure I can afford it but he was so aggressive with his sales tactics I felt like I had no choice. I had to ultimately call my husband and get him involved because my car was being held hostage. I ended up having to leave my car with Midas despite wanting to take it somewhere else and even after everything they tried to upsell me again and did not complete the tasks they said they would for the price. He could not complete the wheel alignments on the back due to rusting.
The staff treated like a valued human being and weren’t racists against me because I’m an Indigenous women. Mostly everywhere I go people are rude, ignorant, and racist towards me. I don’t even have to say anything and Edmontonians treat me like garbage. I almost cried because your staff was extremely professional towards me. Midas staff has always been excellent towards me. The way they treat me makes me feel like I can live another day.
First 2 appointments cancelled by you guys as shop to busy. The guy I talked to after driving there on Monday said I’m sorry but I’ll give you something. Day I in went the mechanic could not figure out why truck was moving safety feature does not move if door not fully closed. After watching him for 5 min turning truck off and on I asked him what’s up! Told him the door wasn’t closed all the way as it showed on dash. Then he rummaged through glove box looking for screw remover’s for tires. He had wrong pack I told him he should have asked me. As I asked why they needed this. Me and my wife originally went in for an oil change and brake inspection but became alot more :) We asked if they could do all new tires and belts and rear brake pads a few hours before they closed. Let's just say it was all done 30 min before close.
