Hi,I took my car for oil change which includes all inspection unfortunately they haven’t done anything at all, because the whole time I was was watching whole time. Verbally get permission to check over vehicles for problems unrelated to the reason the vehicle was brought in for. When you bring a vehicle in stating that you need a new muffler, you shouldn’t be charge the customer to look at the muffler and tell them that they do indeed need a new muffler. Which you also don’t even have in stock.

I have used this location off and on for years. There appears to have been a high turnover of staff as I have had very good and very bad experiences, all dependent on who was at the front counter. This visit, I dealt with Theo Saravanamuthu. He is the reason I would return again for service.

When your technicians not only could not find the dip stick for my transmission they reported that they could not find it. Leaves very little room to have faith in the report they provided and what they brought to my attention as being items I should get serviced not to mention the work they performed for $1,200.00.

The wheel lock key was misplaced te last appointment at Midas in October the one in my truck doesn’t even fit the lug nut size. If I would have had a flat on the highway it would have been costly. The ensure me that they will look for the correct key.
The employees were very kind and helpful. I can't remember the name of the guy served me on Feb 18 at the Calgary Trail branch, but he was very helpful, respectful, and funny as well! I would definitely come back to this branch again for any future maintenance my car will need!

We called in the morning and they were able to get us in within the hour. When it was determined that work needed to be done they talked to us right away. We were trying to leave for vacation and so they worked very hard and got us our car an hour earlier than originally planned.

Contradicting recommendations from previous visits. Suddenly my coolant pipes are ok, but the ac compressor they repaired 4 months ago has a leak. How can I trust the work, or word of techs/front staff. No pictures added to corroborate too.

I brought my 2013 Caravan in because I wasn't getting any heat through the air system. I figured it was probably a malfunctioning thermostat and the technicians confirmed it by phone an hour after I dropped it off. They explained clearly what the exact issue was (broken thermostat that needed replacing), recommended a coolant flush and new cabin filter and gave me the price for the service. I picked the vehicle up 3 hours later and low and behold I had heat again.

Provide better service and training on how to treat a customer
Awesome service however when removing a customers wheels to check their rotors for wear they should be advised to check wheel lugs for a re-torque. Nothing was mentioned to me. But seeing the pictures of my rotors with wheels off will say enough. But others may not relate it to a posssible safety hazard later on!

The lady at the counter spent so much time answering phones that rang constantly. She was nice but could have maybe communicated to people waiting why it was taking so long. One guy having an alignment done on his truck was there for over 3 hours. I had winter tires put on & waited over 2 hours. The vibe here wasn't as good as the Parsons Road location in Edmonton where I had an oil change done recently & will go back there in a heartbeat.

I took my car to Midas for oil change and inspection. The staff were friendly. However, the tires were not torqued properly. I was notified that the tires were loose when when I took my car somewhere else to re-torque after 50km."Car Lights" passed the inspection. However, one of my car lights are not working for few months. This is something obvious that the technician missed. I can't trust the rest of the inspection when I know they have missed such obvious observation.

The list of recommended work included replacing my brand new wipers, replacing all the hoses because they're more than 5 years old, and getting an alignment even though there's no uneven tire wear and the vehicle drives straight. They recommended a $750 repair on brake pads and rotors that has just been changed 3 days prior, with only approximately 40kms driven on them. No longer trust any other issues mentioned by the crew, and will never go back to get work done as they clearly try to charge for things that aren't needed

I was told my intervention would take several hours, and they knew I was staying.It took longer than expected due to staffing limitations.My car went in at 1:00 for a 1:00 appt, and I left the facility at 5:10.Staff was wonderful and full of friendly information for all the waiting customers.
The inspection showed tire pressure and brake pad thickness. I watched from the parking lot the full time my car was in the bay and the parts changer did not go near the back wheels (my view of the front of the car was somewhat obstructed). The inspection noted a bounce test, this didn’t happen. The lady behind the counter was very professional. She said do not pay much attention to the deficiencies noted as this was not a physical inspection but based on mileage and age. This is 2012 mustang with 100km and as I am planning a trip, I was expecting an inspection to tell me what was actually a concern. Please note, I am a Journeyman mechanic. This car is in near mint condition in body, paint, glass and interior with no driving issues It added insult to injury that there were oily hand prints on the fender, drivers door and drivers door inside panel when I went to leave. I invite a follow up on this before I do the google review that was posted on the door inviting me to do so.

My appointment was booked for 11:30 AM so I dropped off my car at the location and came back at 1:30PM and it was still not complete. There were no Complete checkup. Technician did not reset my oil change/maintenance indicator in my car. The price I was promised was 69.99 and got charged 74.73. All these issues can be fixed.
