I had just had my front brakes replaced in June. Last week, I had begun experiencing a lot of vibration in the steering wheel when I applied the brakes. I called in, scheduled an appointment for this past Monday. The front desk staff were there early and took my keys right away. I left to get a coffee and received a phone call within a half hour advising that my oil change was overdue and they offered to do it as well, which I accepted. Within 2 hours, I received another call advising that the car was ready to be picked up. When I returned, I was extremely pleased to discover that they had replaced both front sets of pads, and both rotors, free of charge. I have been taking all my vehicles to Scott and his staff for 5 years and this is just one example of the many times my family and I have received excellent service from them. I've always dealt with the Midas Aldergrove & they are always so dang busy, so I decided to check out the Chilliwack store because it became much closer for me & it's still busy, just not as crazy as the other store so it definitely on a good day a much quicker service. So I'm not sure I'd want to tell many about them, call me selfish, but so that I can hold on to that quickness, but maybe a couple here & there.

I was very disappointed with my service at Midas Chilliwack, BC, Canada.1. Oil change and tire change was 2 hours long2. I had to let mechanic uninstall wheel nuts because they put the wrong one3. Not even 1 km from the shop, my Left rear wheel popped out which vroke my dust plate and scratched my rim and almost got me into an accident.I had to call them and rescue me on the road. The owner mentioned that the mechanic who did my car was his son, and that they were still learning. The so. Forgot to bolt my rear wheel causing it to detach when i was driving. My wheel dust plate was bent and the inside of my rims heavily scratched. They were very dismissive of my concerns. They are negligent and risked my safety.The owner refunded me and told me the dust plate was not something to worry about and everything was only “non-functional damage”He let me sign an agreement not to complain anymore since they refunded me.

When you make an appointment for the 2nd time (1st one was rescheduled because sails rep said there was not enough time.) Make sure you have time for what the customer needs done. I had to reschedule twice and when I brought it in I was told that midas was only able to replace a filter and do nothing else. I booked off the day so u would have time to look at it. I was not happy. the lack of service was very disappointing.

Went in the next day, got my tires changed and was even able to get my oil changed. He knew most of the people by name and spoke to them like they were old friends. I came to Midas because some parts of my car malfunctioned. Midas were the only car in the area to take it on the same day. The person who took my call was very nice and helped me through the process of leaving my car there, informeing me of what needed to be done with the car.
I read a book whilst waiting. Office cluttered, lots of tires, chairs only so/so in comfort.
I had an oil change but asked to check a possible rad leak and though they found no leaks the overfill tank wasn't 100% topped. Also, there was corrosion on the battery cables which wasn't reported on the check form. The front end service rep (peter) was very accommodating and helpful when I brought the vehicle back for a double check. This was a one-off this visit as I've been going to midas for about 10 years and they've always been friendly and on top of things so I would definitely continue bringing my car there.

I picked up a screw in my right rear tire. I didn't realize it was a problem for a few kilometers, as soon as I saw the problem I drove straight to Midas, they took my car in very quickly, and had it repaired and back in my hands within a couple of hours.

I will probably never go back to any Midas shops after the bad service that I have received on my 2001 Volkswagen Beetle.....too pricey for the repairs.....dirty window when I picked up my car.....I couldn?t even see out of my window.....power door lock do
I found the window repair a little too pricey and the quality of repair wasn?t as good as I had hoped for......the window was left very dirty and the door lock won?t go all the way down to it?s original locked position.

The guy i dealt with was unprofessional. I wanted a simple cut out muffler and put straight pipe back in not realizing that one end was clamped. The pipe was fairly new so it wasn't rusted. It took them 1.3 hrs to change the pipe witch was ridiculous!! The
