I have always enjoyed the service and friendly staff at this Midas location for many years. I am treated like an good friend every time I go there.
I booked this online but there was no option for my truck in the drop down menus only cars. Do you discourage trucks at Midas? You should add dodge ram to your service drop down. Luckily I went in but wasn’t going to bother because of this.

I was almost upsold a Transmission Flush and Coolant flush for a BMW that has only done 45000KM. Sales rep also told me that my tires will need all replacing soon and I should do all 4 at same time even though only one is considered low at 5/16" tread. BMW do not recommend a transmission flush as it is sealed for life. I even questioned the "Lifetime" as it came up on his Google search screen at the shop. He told me that they expect it to be changed once in the vehicles lifetime. He also said that new vehicles tires are only designed to be used for 1 year from new. I'm not upset but neither am I satisfied. My bill was about 3 times more than i've paid in the past for the same service. I should have gone elsewhere.
The overall service was excellent. Chad kept me informed and up-to-date on everything I needed. Getting to work was great because Chad provided me transportation. I would highly recommend this location and Chad's service.
My appointment was scheduled for the 10-12 window. It wasn’t until 1 pm that the car was actually taken into a bay for the scheduled work.

The guys at the Duncan Midas are always amazing and helpful when I call in. They don’t hesitate and squeezed me in when I explained the issues as there was a serious concern for safety. They were quick to diagnose the issues and even faster getting my truck back on the road. At pick up, the mechanic working on my truck was concerned that one of the parts may have had a faulty sensor and wouldn’t let me leave until I booked another appointment to have it switched out. (It was late in the evening and I needed the truck to get home!)
They were fast and efficient and vehicle handles well and grateful for their help. Chad had great service and was fast and reliable.

Things that were found when inspecting my vehicle was work completed by other shops was defective. This was brought to my attention and quickly addressed and thoroughly explained by the shop supervisor.

I probably should've asked for a quote on the service that I was scheduled for. car is only three years old with only 52,000 km on it and I was due for a routine brake maintenance.I was charged for a brake evaluation $40 and $239.98 for the brake service itself. overall, my bill was $413.15 for routine brake service. hmmm

Unfortunately they ran out of parts to be able to tighten something up underneath. And the engine light was on the whole drive home, likely because the repair guy forgot to close whatever he needed to close properly. Sorry: I don't know all the terms. I will be going back to get this done, tho. These guys were really nice and seemed to be very honest.

We experienced a major brake alert in our hybrid in Duncan BC, far from our home. We saw a Midas in the distance and drove to it. The staff there were incredibly kind and helpful and dealt so well with our vehicle emergency drop-in. What an incredible group. The problem was electrical and our brakes were fine. Such a positive experience at Midas and we would return there again but it is very far from where we live! Thank you to the team at Midas in Duncan, BC Canada.

I feel the pricing for what was needed was much higher than I anticipated. This is not the first time taking my vehicle here that I was surprised by the cost to have it serviced. The customer service is very good however not knowing a lot about vehicles and from the feedback I am receiving from others who do, I feel like maybe I am being taken advantage of and ripped off and could have similar work done at a much lower cost.

The Duncan Midas is fairly close to home. A phone quote for all weather tires was given which was competitive. Service reception and explanation were efficient .
Always friendly n not so pushy
Staff were excellent and knowledgable. I think that this centre should invest in Tesla jack pads so that they don't rely on the customer to provide this; Tesla vehicles cannot have their tires changed without these pads. The pads cost about $30 and can be used on any Tesla. Seems like a cheap and easy way to gain a growing segment of the automotive population.
It cost me $1100 on Jeep Compass Battery replacement. Technician was unprofessional and I have to PAID double the amount for diagnostic. It was totally rip off and unjustified charges. They replaced the battery and without testing the vehicle they release to customer. - Well Not happy with the service. - Thanks.

Posted price on street sign for oil change did not match quoted price inside. When discussed with the team, they were rude and not at all interested in matching THEIR posted price. Each time we discussed a service and price, I would check back (same visit) and the price increased proving they were 100% scamming customers. Prior management were amazing and we brought all our cars to them over the years. Now, we will never go back, nor will I ever, ever recommend someone to go there. 100% scamming management team!
Unfortunately there seemed to be a shortage of workers and the wait time was long.
The communication was clear and helpful. The diagnostic revealed my brake pads were very worn but I felt absolutely no pressure to do the work at that time. The manager understood that I wanted to discuss it with my husband. Thanks to the diagnostic information and the quality of communication, I booked the work to be done a few days later.

Got our 1 ton in and out ordered the parts right away and always kept me up to date on the 1 ton and when parts came in I got a call and was done the next day amazing work.
The air conditioner seized, and as a result, the belt running the air conditioner, power steering and alternator was broken, making the vehicle undrivable. The staff at Midas immediately had a mechanic check and advised that the nearest part was in Montreal. This meant a wait period of approximately 1 week to get the part. I suggested that Midas do a lube, oil and filter, as well as removing the summer tires and installing the winter tires, which are on rims. It was agreed that this would be done while waiting for the part to arrive.

I was pleasantly surprised that you were able to do my oil change as I've had many other places tell me they cannot due to the make and model of my vehicle. I thought the price was fair, the people were friendly and competent, and it was finished quickly.

Booked on line in morning, waited for someone to call us back (my husband is impatient so he called again) and they confirmed our time and was taken in a few minutes!I noticed the girl was very new behind the counter and 2 male employees were helping her so kindly and Patiently, I was very impressed to see the male macho mechanics taking their time to explain office work to a young female. Everything went well and we were absolutely be back my husband is a mechanic of motorcycles and ship,Mills etc. He is very very picky about mechanical work and I’ll work and he was really impressed and he told me to tell you guys that we would definitely be back thanks for the great service

i find the associates very kind and helpful, they explained to me what was needed in a language i could understand. i go to this outlet for all my service needs now, brakes and exhaust system. i find the work place is friendly and informative. i like to be told what is wrong and that they can fix it right there. i am thankful they serve me and treat me so nice as i was mean one time and i expected to be thrown out when i went back. instead they welcomed me and were very understanding of my bad day, i said i was sorry, they were gracias to me and were happy i was back. yes i will tell my friends about this outlet and in fact i already have today at work. i spread the word around and they are less than 5 minutes from work. told a few customers also, i will continue to use this outlet for my car's care. - from the 2006 Saturn, thank you !
My vehicle was taken in the week before this appointment to change to summer times. On a courtesy inspection it was found that I had a bad calliper on one side. I was given a quote to do all four so was explained. I booked an appointment for the next week to just change out 2 callipers, brakes etc. They said it would take approx 4 hours. They called me at the 3 hour mark and told me that they took all my tires off as courtesy and thought I needed new tires. Why didn’t they find that last week and why take all my tires off again. Needless to say, it went way overtime and the billing for 2 callipers was the same as for 4. It made me feel like they were up-selling me and I was not sure to trust their judgement or not.
I needed a new muffler that required adaptation. A muffler was ordered but didn't fit so we had to wait for another muffler. We were treated very well and kept well informed. Unfortunately it was over the long weekend so that was a bit of a blip! Anyway muffler done and very pleased. Shelby served us each time and was fantastic and took us out and explained what had been done. He was so impressive with others while we waited and it was quite busy. He had time for everyone.
when someone gets breaks done and they have break issues a month later. you shouldn't try and charge someone labour for the job that should have been completed correctly the first time.
I stopped in without an appointment, they were nice enough to fit me in, very friendly and accommodating, and I was pleased with their service. That was the second time I've been there and I'll go back again.
Came in for a brake check at 9 am as there was a stone grinding away at rotor.... turns out it was the rotor, brake pad and caliper was seized. They took my car in right away and it was out by 5 pm. highly satisfied.
When someone makes an appointment from 12 to 2 and your vehicle isn’t even looked at until 2:30, there is something wrong with your system. The lady before me had an appointment for 1030 and she did get out of there until 2:30???Someone could have at least called me, but no, I came back expecting to get my truck but it hadn’t moved since I parked it when I got there. I was not impressed. What the point of making appointments if they are ignored.
Maybe start by not lying to the customer about how much a part is going to cost when the customer already knows the cost of the part and delivery because we had to call and get the part sent there because they couldn’t even do that job. They also lied about the delivery of the part when it was actually delivered, did not communicate or call to keep customer informed of the status of the job customer had to continue calling several times to find out information. Counter clerk continued to lie to customer with regards to service and pricing. We will be contacting corporate and escalating this complaint further. I would never go back to this location and would strongly advice anyone to go to this location or Midas in general after this awful experience

Your front-desk associate was overwhelmed and should have someone else helping. I booked for 1130, but my vehicle was not seen until 1230. because of this, not all the work could be completed because I was on a schedule.The workers were apologetic but it is unacceptable to have workers treated like this and expect customer's needs are met.
Location was very busy, and everything seemed rushed. Truck computer oil change lifeexpectancy not reset, and the new window sticker was hand written and place over the old one and is not readable. Had to ask if the tire rotation and been done as no indication on the invoice. The manager who had been there for a number of years Richard was not there, was told at the front desk by two different individuals that he was taking time away, however on of the tech's said he had been let go.

i was in a bad mood, my brand new glasses broke. i took my car to the dealership to get a leak fixed, they worked on it twice and said it was fixed, over 500.00 and it still leaks, my car is rotting. i work a whole day to pay one hour of your time. when i get something fixed by a proffesional i expect it to work. i paid for it to be fixed and work. so when my brakes started to squeal, i took it back to you. i was feeling annoyed as my car still leaks, they could not fix my glasses and now my brakes are screwed. i sat in my car and cried. i was mean to the worker at Midas. i took my annoyance and bad experiences with others that day on him. at this moment i am embarassed and feel bad that i was so rude. he did say at the end that he feels he does try to be a good represenative for you and he was. he kept his cool and was still polite. i was so angry that day and i feel he was trying hard to be polite. i will go back and apoligise to him. Midas was recommended to me by my brother, he said out of the type of shops these are, that Midas was the best. i am satisfied with the work done. thank you.

I can’t remember his name but he explained everything , listed and showed me the problem The brakes were wore right down and a broken sway bar, I had no appointment and some of the parts have to come from different parts of our island and it was still done the same day !! Had to replace the muffler as it was under warranty and the staff were excellent in replacing it as I only had to pay for the labour portion. Went for lunch and returned and had a short wait while a replacement clamp was delivered and off I went.

I am very impressed with the mechanics at the Duncan Midas as they managed to find a pin hole leak in the water pump as I was loosing a minor amount of antifreeze over the last month of driving. I will continue driving from Victoria to Duncan for this kind
