I’ve been a loyal Midas customer for over 35 years and I’ve always been satisfied with the service knowledge of the staff the speediness of the service, but unfortunately your prices are becoming less and less affordable shop rate is too high and I’m probably going to have to start looking somewhere else for my business a simple tire repair for a leak cost $55

My catalytic converter had been half cut-off by thieves. I contacted Midas and explained the situation and they told me to bring the vehicle to them. Price was significantly higher than online listed price. I had a $10 off coupon which is listed on the receipt, but there is no indication whatsoever that it was deducted from the total price. The staff were welcoming and friendly, no complaints there. I’m just trying to save a little now that I’m retired so was surprised when the price was considerably higher than what was both shown online, in the store, and quoted to me previously on the phone. Took me in quickly and found product to fit my car. Staff explained safety or not of old tires and advised which to keep and which to let go of. Friendly and helpful service throughout the process. Technician took time to shine up the new tires, wrap old ones and load them into my car. Reassured me of the quality and safety of the tire product they had put on my car. Advised me of when to come in for adjustment. Looked up other info on a future part replacement, and gave me a quote. Offered free coffee during my wait and were very friendly. Its one of those things. The car is full of stuff we need to move and the vehicle had no water and it came through the interior vents and the hood area. Obviously the repair was to get us going but it failed. We need a part we have to wait for. i thought it was labour heavy on the expense . Now I have to go back and pay again for the part. First unload my car and restuff it into may other car., that sucks, Either way it will be fixed we will move and youll get paid. Jsut lightemn up ion the next bill guys. :)

They were very honest in what my car needed. I thought I needed new back brakes but they said I didn't. There was another problem with the back brakes but a cheaper solution. They also cleaned all brakes and finished the job in a timely fashion.

The price charged appears excessive... I was charged $840 each (x 2) for catalytic converters that I see priced at 3 different Canadian outlets, available for less that $375 each (retail)... that's excessive!
