Friendly service and quality work done on my vehicle
They found a remanufactured engine to replace my blown engine and completed the repair in a timely fashion.
This is the 2nd time my project car has had some part explode on me in an area where I can not service it myself. Both times I have come to this Midas and on both occasions I’ve had the privilege to have Amber assist me with all my questions. She is always so nice and helpful and truly an understanding individual. I always tell people she’s the reason I go to Midas since I do not like mechanic shops. I also want to shout out Ronny Kelley because he is also the person who gets stuck working on my mustang and he always gets it right for me. He finds and fixes the problem incredibly fast and I appreciate him so much.
I always go to Midas and they always take very good care of my car and make sure that I am good they also always communicate what needs to be done or has been done with my car or what needs fixing
The people at Midas in Barstow always treat me like a valued customer. They do their best to make my visit to the their facility a good one. They always communicate with me through the course of the repair the progress and probable completion.

Amber the front desk lady is the bomb! Customer service on point two thumbs up she's courteous respectful friendly made me feel comfortable offered coupons that were offerable explain how the process was going got me checked in really fast I had a smile on her face the whole time she did it the technicians are not to be distracted I think that is awesome let's go check on my car shop manager told me I can't distract his technicians I thought that was amazing cuz I know that my service getting done right with no distractions amazing amazing amazing service and very clean
The whole crew was amazing, Amber kept me occupied while I waited. Service advice spoke with me informing me my car was in great condition. Tech left my car without any dirty marks. Midas is my to-go spot.
Hire Mechanic's that are seasoned or have more experience than the One's that you currently have... And keep your Receptionist (Amber) she has a nice personality and is the only reason why I'm NOT Really Ranting and Raving about Midas's lackluster service.
It’s the best automotive shop here in Barstow I’ve been coming to Midas since 1984.
First they broke my tire studs and wants to charge me 600 dollars and broke the plug to the oil pan and did charge me. I cannot drive my truck now and have to take it to get fixed

Very quick service!! I originally thought it was my starter that went out and after running their diagnostic test on my vehicle it proved to be just the battery. It saved me a lot of money!! Even more so that my battery was still under warranty..

I was transported to and from in accomadation of my vehicle being serviced. i felt as though the customer service was greatHowever even though my vehicle is an older one I felt as though they were making that the reason that my air system wasn't going to work properly. I was charged like over 4 hundred for something that had a hole in it, that i felt was going to make the air freezing cold. i live in the desert so its a must with children to have a working air system. This shop went above and beyond to help us out in a difficult situation. A trip to CA and a thrown rod (ouch!). The first repair did not entirely fix the issue and they took the car back and worked on it again to make sure the problem was resolved in a satisfactory manner. They did so and all in a very timely manner. The personalized service was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this shop.
The car broke down in what was for us, pretty much the middle of nowhere, but Barstow was there, and the kind folks at Midas have worked very diligently to get the car running and on the road again in an expedient time frame.
