My car needs additional work. I was told I would be given an estimate for that work. I didn’t get one. I got a list of the necessary work, but no estimate. When I got home, I called and asked for the estimate to be emailed to me. It never was.

Before coming to Midas. I used to have my car serviced at American Tire Depot which I had a bad experience. Anthony saw I was having an issue with my car and recommended Midas to me. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and fresh baked cookies from the bald-headed gentlemen which I forgot his name. I am now a customer of Midas because of Anthony and the best baker in Long Beach. Thank you guys I will be returning to get my car serviced from here on out and recommend my family and friends to Midas.

I had a Midas credit card I wanted to use to pay for the services and work done. They do a great job and Luis is very professional and friendly. Midas is reliable and a fair price for the work done on my car. However, I couldn’t use my Midas credit card and to apply for a new one because this location wouldn’t accept it this time because they changed credit companies. I had to reapply and open a new account with their new credit bank. He said the traditional Midas card charged the store too much in fees for transactions. It was highly inconvenient and I didn’t want another credit card. Although I used Midas often, I’m looking to find another business to service my car. Customer of 10 years.

My first visit I came in for 3 reasons with my car. One being that I heard a squeaking noise from the back of my car and was told it was my shocks. My total my first visit was $1400. I was very satisfied then. About a week later the squeaking noise came back full force so I took the car back in only to be told that first they did not hear anything then when I asked to ride with the guy they ignored my request and waited on a " MASTER TECH" who then came into work and out of nowhere heard the noise and informed me that it is the right rear control arm bushings which would cost me another $1000. Just that quick lost a customer and I will never be going there again.

The two staff members I spoke with were extremely helpful and friendly. When I first called I spoke with Kevin and he scheduled a same day appointment for me and even drove over to pick up my tires so I could get them replaced the same day. I also had my brakes repaired. The prices are reasonable and the staff were patient with me and answered all my questions. I waited for the service and they even changed the channel on the TV so I would be more comfortable and gave me a water. Very nice place and I will spread the word and will for sure come back again. Well it was a terrible day..i get up mad early for work and the starter goes out…I’m on the west coast with no family so i had to figure this out alone. I tried to let my bf handle it but it was a fail and i missed two days of work and my boss was being a real a-hole. So i woke up mad early Friday and made a appt before it opened. I’m terrible with names but i think Steve called as soon as they opened to let me know about the appt time, pricing and the process. I was elated that i could just get it towed there without having to personally go. They called as soon as it got there and Called after the check up to confirm i needed a starter. They even promised to get it done that day. Granted i spent a thousand but i got my car back the same day and they were super nice accommodating the pick up. I think his name was Lucas or Lewis or something. He was super nice because i rode there on a scooter and he helped me figure out where the drop off was and promised he would be there when i walked back to take my car home. Best experience i have EVER had with a mechanic.

How is great service at that location
I went in there thinking i had a flat tire, but the person at the front desk was a great sport and let me know that my tires were fine, but that i did need my breaks, ASAP, which indeed i did, so i went ahead and asked if they would take care of that and with no hesitation my car was ready in less than 2 hours.
The mechanics were clear while explaining the repairs needed and the estimates in costs.The work place was clean and I trusted the performance made to the repairs.

Really expensive for rear break pads. Charged for 2 hours of labor when my car mostly just sat there while awaiting a part, plus $40 just to recalibrate the parking break.
