The technician who worked on my car potentially did not put any oil in the car, or at least no were near enough, before returning it to me. Immediately upon starting it the car sounded awful (much different than before the oil change) and as soon as I drove onto the road an alarm went off stating low oil pressure and that the engine must be shut off immediately. I pulled over and walked back to the store where the technician interrupted me before I could explain the situation and rattled off multiple problems with the car and that it was not his fault. Eventually he listened and checked the car and realized his mistake but continued to cut me off when trying to communicate with him and make excuses as to why it was not his fault. It was very unprofessional and disappointing service. The manager was pleasant however, when I questioned him regarding this issue he too made excuses for his technician. All in all, it was a very poor experience.

Everything was listed on invoice very clearly and they communicated (the manager) as to what they would start with and go from there. They call me on my phone, and let me know, what the result of the inspection showed, and how much it would cost to fix the issues at hand. I replied Yes, fix these three issues, and got a close enough estimated cost and how long it would take to service. Both estimates were very close to the info given on the phone, so yes I was very satisfied with the service experience.

The check-in was quick. I didn't have to wait for service at all. It was a slow day. My car was finished within 30 minutes. This is the shortest time I have waited for an oil change. A full inspection was done on all fluids and the many other functions that are easy and quick to check. I'm glad I went here for the oil change. I recommend this place to everyone.

Hire staff that will not steal from customers vehicles. Have some integrity and hire a manager who who will say they are not liable but it happened while my vehicle was being served and not after hours. Theft is not OK.
How about training your cashier. He was constantly on phone with his boss during my checkout process. He ended up charging me twice for a battery. I have yet to be reimbursed for that, even though his boss assured me two days it would be addressed.I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. The only thing that went right was the install of the battery. That took less than 10 minutes. My time with the cashier, who couldn’t get the computer input or printer working took 25 minutes. I was the only customer in the store during this fiasco and the cashier was going back and forth on the phone with his boss. This was very poor service.

My vehicle was damaged during the repair - the rear seat fold downs were snapped and are now broken/non-functional. I would like to request immediate assistance with addressing the situation. I am disappointed the damage was attempted to be hidden and was not disclosed when I picked up the vehicle.

If your staff can’t fix AC and not trained for it please don’t accept customer with AC issues. They did a diagnostic and charged 175$ and then they told me that the parts that need to be replaced will cost around 800$. I took my car to Ford Sunnyvale they did the job in 2 hours and charged me 158$. Cheaters !!!

The advertising for the 2999 oil change was tricky intentionally. It advertised synthetic oil but they were several different synthetic oil choices. I paid $80 for an oil change even though I called prior to and asked specific questions. I know this is intentionally done. I was already there and didn’t want to have to go to another shop. at the end of the day I don’t even know that I actually got full synthetic oil. They do their advertising on purpose to get people in there assuming they’re getting synthetic oil but it’s a lower grade.
I had the car towed to this facility because of a flat tire (the tire had picked up a pick of metal that caused the flat). They were able to patch the tire. I was able to pick up the car within 2 hours. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I have gone to Midas to get all of my oil changes done. The last time I got an oil change done there was a issue that was presented but no one mentioned it to me neither did they write down any issues on the receipt summary that they gave me. I went back to Midas on February 21st, 2023 and they told me that my valve gasket was leaking oil and I needed to get it repaired as soon as possible. I am very surprised no one mentioned this to me on my last visit to get my oil change. I was really not happy about this because if I would've known about this problem a couple of months ago I would have had it taken care of. That was the only thing that I was not satisfied about my visit. Other than that the staff is super respectful and very sweet.

First, this was the second Midas I visited that day. I had an appointment at Camden Midas, but they were a no show after an hour. The El Camino Midas was kind enough to take our walk in. We brought the parts, which the tech immediately dropped on the floor unceremoniously. minor cosmetic damage to the parts resulted, which is a problem as this is a show and vintage vehicle.They charges were higher than some specialty shops, but they did knock off some of the price when we argued. For an hour of work, and though we provided parts they were going to charge over $250.The work they did was quick, and it shows. The welds looks ok after I later ground them down, but initially looked very poor. The work done was haphazard at best. Expediency won out today, but I will be taking the car to another shop to do a better job, over all, on the work, and I have had to spend hours cleaning up and fixing the shoddy looking work.Lastly, though this is a vintage show car and it was commented on how nice it looked, the tech treated it with disrespect. Slamming and pushing doors and panels. I had to remind him multiple times to treat the car with car, as it is vintage and of show quality.

I went in for Check Engine light on diagnosis. Price charged is double what they charge on the market. After diagnosis the quote i received was very very high and since i could not fix the issue with this shop I have ended up paying more for diagnosis alone besides the time spent there ( more than 5 hours)
I was dissatisfied because I saw an ad on your web site that said oil change for $25.95. Called and asked if deal was still on. Agent said yes but need to coupon. Said I see ad on web site but not a coupon. Said okay come on in. I did. He wouldn’t give me the rate. Charged me about $15 more. Felt it was a bait and switch scenario. I will not go back.
The manager Israr at Midas in Sunnyvale was very friendly on the phone & in person he gave me his office to work on my laptop while I wait for my new brakes service. After the mechanic evaluated my brakes, he came & told me what’s needed to be done. The overall work done on my brakes was tested on San Francisco incline & decline streets the following day. The brakes on my heavy Toyota minivan were so smooth that I mentioned to my kids every 1/2 hr( they were tired of hearing that...). Great service & friendly staff.
I got inspection done for $35 since brakes were making noise. They did a very brief test drive - couple hundred feet (not as long as I would have expected). Once they decided brake pads are the issue, they didn't clearly explain which sides (pads + rotors) should be replaced

I like the fact Midas manager Israr Refai provided me with excellent service.He also price matched a quote i received from another tire installer and gave a military/ veteran discount too. Since the Midas location was close to home, it was very convient for me. The only problem I encountered was with changing the spare tire which the technician forgot, but it was quickly corrected and made good.

I am very satisfied with the service that I have received from Midas in the last 2 years. My car is very old (˜2004), and I cannot expect that it does not give issues from time to time. However, the same part was replaced twice in a period of 1-2 years. So, this is the only point at which I am not totally happy. Maybe, the part was not replaced with a genuine one. I am not sure. In any case, I really like the service that I receive from Midas.

They change oil very fast and do 45 point inspection. They try to sell their tires to you because it's their main business.

The guy at the front desk was nice but he kept rubbing in regret about how he shouldn't had squeezed me in the schedule, I didn't feel appreciated as a customer. To top it off I don't think they rotated my tires since they wanted to be in a hurry to close.
Servicing was quick and thorough. Inspection done and updated to the point.
They told me my front brakes have gone bad, so I went to another car service and the report was all good. Just by looking at the miles on the car they decided the brakes are bad.I doubt they event rotated my tires and did oil change.
The job on the control arms was fine. But 4 days later when I was driving I heard a scraping noise like something was stuck under car. Luckily I was around the corner from my house. When I got home and checked the plastic shield that belongs under the car
Staffs are kind, and they did good.
Compressor replacing was very costly charged around 1600$. Also getting some sound from AC when I starts it. Oil change and gyre rotation is fine .
