It was my first visit to Midas on 4/12. I came with a coupon that I received in the mail for an oil change.After my oil change, I returned to my car and there were black grease stains around my seatbelt mount, on the interior framing on the door, on the center console, and around the handle bar above the driver roll down window. The technician, Donovan V, was very careless and disrespectful to my vehicle during his oil change process as he returned my vehicle filthy.The issue wasn’t handled professionally or urgently. It was handled inconsiderately. The staff used a rag and upholstery cleaner to attempt to remove the black grease stains. The stains are still present in my vehicle. By the time I left, I had spent a hour and a half at this location and was very inconvenienced.I am very disappointed in the entire experience as a new customer and I do not plan on returning. Do not upcharge people. I came in for a routine oil change, and almost ended up spending $1500 to change my brakes. I was told my brakes were running metal to metal and the need to change was urgent. When I left, I tried to actively listen for my brakes and I could not hear a thing.
Quick pre-purchase inspection with friendly and thorough technicians
All I needed was three broken exhaust pipe studs replaced. Time took too long, price was too high, and to top it off the job was completed with two different bolt types, all three bolts were installed differently. Poor workmanship on such a simple job.

I needed urgent muffler installation to finish a DIY project. Great: (1) I was scheduled same day, within 2 hours, at 4pm on a Friday before the holiday weekend. (2) The exhaust on my truck is rattle-free and leak free.Less than great: (1) $410 for 2 men x 1 hour of labor (I provided all parts) was higher than I expected. (2) I provided information about trimming the tailpipe to locate the muffler in the factory location, which was not passed to techs. While the exact muffler location is somewhat minor, it is not where I wanted. In the process, two additional factory exhaust hanger locations were not used to support the muffler.

The service was quick and excellent. Joe my mechanic was especially great and he changed the wiper blades and fixed the windshield washer fluid quickly so I could continue my trip cross country.
