Midas in Danbury, Connecticut is where I go for Midas service. Mike, who is the Manager, is extremely friendly and he explained everything to me regarding the repair needed on the exhaust system. I was checked in by an associate named Coldwell (?) and he was efficient and pleasant. The associate, Don, who worked on my car was a delight and very personable. He gave me 'tips' that I didnt know about the car and he even gave me a lesson in adding oil to the car on my own, if needed. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I made an appointment on line and within like 15 minutes I received a call from one of the reps asking questions about the service I needed. I got in the same day and although I had to wait for my car to be serviced it was worth the wait. It was a big job changing brakes and rotors and a caliper was frozen, thank goodness they were able to unfreeze it because that was another added expense. The entire team was super friendly and helpful. Good thing that they had finance options and I was able to apply and used it to pay for the service. Super clean facilities.
I originally brought my Hyundai to the dealership I bought it from after an emergency breakdown and was told I wouldn’t be seen that day and there was no telling when they could help me. Mike at Midas was available to help me right away, took my car, and it was ready within 2-3 hours. He was also very respectful and kind to me, which is not always something you find as a woman at a car servicing business. My car is perfect now. I’m extremely happy with Midas’ service!

Brought overheating vehicle in to replace radiator and hoses. Left it there all day, when I picked up at closing there was major damage. Broken bumper, dented side fender and panel, passenger door doesn’t operate correctly, broken/ missing hubcap, and scratches down the side. After showing all damages to the manager Mike, his response was I talked to my mechanic and he said he didn’t do it… that was enough for him to deny all responsibility and not look into it any further. I don’t know if the mechanic caused the damage personally but it could’ve happen in their parking lot/ test drive, etc. I was told there are no camera’s on site, inside or outside to prove it didn’t happen in their possession or on their property.Besides the accident/ damage the original job wasn’t even done correctly. The next day had a leak, guess that mechanic forgot to put the clamp on.

No scheduled appointment, out of the clear blue, was told if you can leave it they'd squeeze it in... He also asked if they had the time to check the e-brake cables...Dropped off around 11:00am, byt 3:00pm, rattle was fixed, e-brake cables replaced, all at a VERY reasonable price, to mention again, NO appointment!!!
