This store is under new management. The old management was GREAT which is why i was with Midas for the last 4-6 years. We scheduled an appointment for 7/7/2023 for a wheel alignment, everything else was working fine to my knowledge. That was completed and I was advised that the exhaust pipe had a hole in it. They stated it would cost $195.00 to fix it. I told them to go ahead and fix it. They called me a short time later to tell me the vehicle was ready. When I arrived, I went in to pay for the service and then leave. The only problem was the Check Engine light was on. This was not the case then I dropped it off. I let the shop know and they cleared out the error. I turned the van off, then back on, and the check engine light turned on again. I needed the vehicle for vacation and couldn’t leave it for further service. I was told by the manager that they would take care of it when I got back. I dropped off the van on 7/19 to have the check engine light corrected. I was told that it would cost $780.00 to replace the sensors that were not a problem before i dropped off my van. Manager said it was a coincidence.
Vehicle returned to shop nine times to repair the same original repair. Technician would not work on vehicle to repair what the other Technician did to vehicle. Vehicle was promised by manager to fix then he quit. Vehicles brakes went out, driving and now broken down in Pennsylvania. Requesting to talk to district manager.
I feel like I keep having to return, to fix yet another problem with my vehicle, instead of actually getting to enjoy my vehicle, free if issues. Example - I'm literally still paying for one set of repairs, and something else is going wrong. This is obviously very frustrating.

My first drive in a vehicle I took three states away, just to find out the front shocks have been tampered all the way down with no play. I’ve bottomed out the whole way to Virginia and the whole way back home. Called and have a new appointment to bring the truck in again to have it hopefully fixed and out of the vehicle all day again. Hoping no other damage was done to the front with all the banging and bottoming out it was doing on the highway through the overpasses.
if the customer schedules a 9am oil change appointment, and shows up at 9am, dont let them wait 1.5 hrs until the customer has to ask why the car hasnt been started yet. especially if i say i need it done in 1.5 hrs and the associate agrees. thats more than reasonable time. lack of communication with customers will always be the biggest failure of any company. And thats the point of making an appt if you cannot keep it? or even come close?? i didnt just walk in off the street. highly dissatisfied!!
