I have been going to this Midas for the past 2 years and received brand new tires and oil changes for both my trucks and Joe Lange and his associates have been honest straight forward with me. I called in to see if Midas repaired oil leaks. I explained what was going on and they offered me to take it down to have it evaluated. When I arrived I was instantly greeted and taken care of. Both associates were friendly and professional. They also LISTENED to my concerns with the oil leak and made me feel heard. Very tentative. I was assisted with transportation back home and to pick up my vehicle once service was completed. Upon inspection, the associate informed me and provided pictures of the issues and went over repair options. He was very thorough and answered all my questions leaving me feeling confident about having services done there. Midas at Cortez went, in my opinion, above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and the repairs were made in a very timely and affordable manner so I wouldn't be out of a vehicle. Overall it was just a really great experience. And big shout out to Joe, the associate that took care of everything today, A++ for being fantastic.

I have been to this location probably over 10 times now with two different vehicles. Very happy with the work outcome. Always a little sad about the high cost, but this high cost exists pretty much everywhere, and higher in some locations. Appreciate the speed of this facility. And the mechanics also show care.

My FREE brake inspection cost me $30! I’m not sure how that’s a free brake inspection… and then they say “oh your brake pads actually look pretty good” then when i got my quote they were going to charge me $260 to replace the brake pads that they said looked pretty good? The whole visit was going to cost me $800!!! That’s so ridiculous, I can go to autozone and buy the parts i need and fix It way cheaper… I just was on a time crunch since i was leaving for vacation the next day … They told me my rotors “were in pretty bad shape” i got home and checked them and 3/4 are good. The other 1 is starting to ware down but it’s not terrible. The price here is wayyyy too expensive I most likely won’t be back. Don’t advertise FREE brake inspection if it’s not free :)

You have two knowledgeable guys running the show at this location. Also it seems like many of the techs have been there a while and must be treated well. They also seem to care about doing a good job and act on it fast. When Jose told me my new tires were up to 35 pounds and I said I keep them at 38, he pulled my vehicle back in, set them at 38, and got me underway. So overall, the team of people you have at this store make the difference. And I always check my lug nuts with a torque wrench when returning home, because I have had way too many instances of the air gun not being tight enough. I watched Jose put a torque wrench to my lugs, all 24, 4 of them being locking lugs, and I still double checked him later. None moved. All were set right. That helps me put a lot more faith into this store. Not necessarily Midas as a whole, but this Midas location I trust.

Joey and staff at desk are good. I showed up for a service and was told they had nobody to do work it was a 30 mile trip. No prior call.Then I showed up at a later date and traded my alignment for a oil change and rotation and balance which was good of them. However the wheel alignment guys at not competentant at all. Will not be going back.

I started having car issues, and I went to Midas on Cortez Rd & 14th Ave. in Bradenton, FL and I have been taking my vehicles to them since then. Joe is great. Shawn is great. I forgot Shawn's son's name, but he iscgreat. BJ is great. Alfredo is a magnificent mechanic! If I forgot anyone, please forgive me guys! They are the only guys I will let work on my vehicles. Please pay those guys so they don't ever leave!
Normally super happy with this location. Must have caught them on an off day. Scheduled my oil change almost a week out and when I got there they wanted me to reschedule. When I told them no that's why I made n appointment due to its my only day off. I got a little attitude from the employee. Like I said it's a great location and the staff is usually very friendly and honest. I will not let this one incident change my overall opinion of this location and will most likely return for future automovie services.

The services I requested were performed, and with high quality parts. The vehicle inspection revealed other needed tasks on my 14 year old truck. Those were completed simultaneously. I am willing to spend money in advance to keep a component from completely failing or breaking down. Preventative maintenance is worth avoiding the trouble of being stranded on the road.

Ordered parts for a problem I thought I had without letting your associate diagnose. It turned out to be something else and saved me hundreds of dollars because your associate was honest about it. They don’t “find” things that really Don’t need to be done, and then overpricing it like I’ve had done to me at dealerships. Never disappointed with my appointments and always treated respectfully as a woman. I just learned at my last visit that Midas does towing to their locations at a very reasonable cost.
